Sam, phenomenal job with this video. Ur comparison was spot on. New balance has been a game changer for the wide feet folks like myself. I tend to prefer the 1080v10. I’m curious to check out the bondi 7 when it comes out this summer in an extra wide.
You're right about the 1080 being not that great for recovery runs which is kinda odd considering the stake height, and it's ALMOST too versatile, like I don't know where to use it despite the fact that I really love running in it
Hi! Thanks for the review! I suffer of platar fasciitis, now i cant run but I walk as much as the PF allows me, i am a 85kg supinator. Would like to ask you, do you recommend me the 1080 v10 or the fresh foam more v2? I am wearing bondi 6 and skechers max cushioning premier but still in excruciating pain. So far i have got better experiece with soft shoes. With stiff shoes, or insoles, i can barely walk. Your advice will be very much appreciated! I thank you in advance!
I tend to get soreness on the ball of my feet , so would it be best to wear a runner with a smaller drop or larger ? My feet are in great condition, average size , no corns or bunions . I just don't have a lot of meat on the balls of my feet. . PS: Great review, thanks.
It’s the way it has been with certain NB models, their web site and brick and mortar run stores. Gives stores a unique and really good model to compete with online.
Plantar’s ? If so I find firmer, stable with bigger drop but well cushioned best. Not sure any of these ideal but if I had to pick 880. See my article on Plantar here: www.roadtrailrun.com/2018/05/plantar-fasciitis-how-to-get-grip-on.html. If you have had it a while the article may be less helpful.
Took the 880v10 for the first 3 mile short run. After the run noticed wrinkles on the side of the shoes.(compression wrinkles).... is that normal? Thank you
often happens with new shoes. And here with the laser engraving holes and hexagons designed to give at the sidewalls, How much do you weigh and where do you strike, where are the wrinkles?
@@RoadTrailRun I weigh 70kg(155 lbs),5'10 and I m a heel striker.... the wrinkles are not very pronounced..... it's on the area of outer side of the shoe.... somewhere close to the place where the foot arches.... the wrinkles are on the laser engraved holes side

1080V10 is really comfy, the mid foot is not narrow like most Nike shoes
I believe knowing NB, is that they will release a WIDE version, like what NB did with the Rebel...
Do you feel like the 1080 can protect well someone with knee problems in the past ?
The first More was a let down from what I've heared. I'm excited to see the More v2 review.
It was Filip particularly as it was both stiff and had no rocker. Less stiff here and so far running smoother.

Use it in everything EXCEPT fast runs, even then I doubt it would be terrible. My size 13 are around 11.4 oz
May check out the 880 in the spring.

I'd really love a video explaining New Balance's numbering system - one reason I don't buy the brand - the Fuel Cell and Beacon look nice though

Fuel cell foam > fresh foam x no question
880v10 seems great for daily running.
IThat's my fav blue color! I alwasy wanted a pair with that color but so far no shoe I like has it...wutever happened to the 890's?
Any word on a new Beacon rolling around? One of my favorite daily trainers in recent memory.
It's coming fairly soon. Will get dates.
Where is the beacon placed compared to shoes in video? They don't sell the beacon in Holland.
Did New Balance say why the 880 is only available at there website?

Any news on when they’ll be making new support shoes vongo?
I am also waiting for vongo. Tried once, and damn like it.
Hi. I have heel pain. Which sneaker do you recommend? Super soft, plush? Which ones? No preference on brands, Budget under 200$.

Which among 88ov1o and 1o8ov1o is more soft/plush?
1080v10 or 880v10 for fast running pace?
I would say 1080 in that match up but clearly TC is the fastest of the NB trainers
@@RoadTrailRun sadly they dont sell them here in Asia 😔. Thank You for the reply you earned a subscriber! More power to your content.
This video gets me very worried... u sounds like u are struggling to breathe...😥
HaHa! Cold where I was and super excited and a bit nervous about these great shoes!
That TC makes me very curious to run on. Bit expensive though!
