Song is sad and gives me chill, even though I never watched the show.
This played for Captain Falcon's last moments in the final episode, so your feelings are accurate.
Yeah, I take back what I said. It does sound like theres a very quiet voice deep in the mix; and it sounds remarkably like the singing. But when I played it on my good headphones, I could tell it was a Synth track they used to back the voice.
And yeah, editing out a single part of the music isnt really feasible unless you have the master recording, which is usually recorded by each instrument separately.
You can actually find the EP by Hiro X for this song and on it there _is_ an instrumental variant.

I cried as a kid when Captain Falcon died :( he was my ideal Super Hero
Turns out the 2nd Captain Falcon Alex Summers didn't die in the Dark Star Doomsday Weapon explosion like we all thought. In the canonical video game sequel to GP: Legend F-Zero: Climax it's revealed Alex barely survived the explosion which meant he sustained some massive life-threatening including some massive injuries to the head which caused borderline total amnesia which results in him becoming Berserker the on again-off again mercenary ally/rival to Rick the new and current Captain Falcon and Rick's allies in the MCPD's undercover F-Zero pilot unit the Speed Squad including Alex's younger cyborg sister Jody. Basically the only things Alex could remember when he became Berserker were his incredible skills and knowledge of martial arts including his MCPD training, and the knowledge that he's a talented F-Zero pilot along with his incredible skill as a talented F-Zero pilot. Though this begs the question. How the heck did Alex survive the explosion that Rick caused? Cause the final episode of GP: Legend clearly shows both Alex and Dark Shadow getting swallowed by the explosion.

The captain Falcon from the anime is the guy Working At the cafe shop and when he died he gave the name of Capetian falcon to Ryu suzaku and now he is the Capetian Falcon we know now in Smash with the scarf .
