I use a hurricane for all of my candles too! It doesnt ever matter to be how big the candle or how many wicks if it can fit I'm putting it in some type of hurricane.
Excellent video! I was one that never understood the hype for Blueberry Cheesecake and I also burned some of my leftover recently and still don’t understand it. Very little cream cheese or cheesecake smell and low throw on mine. Thank you for coming back to talk about your experience with these
Totally agree about the Lemon Pound Cake Label! I mean, the label is gorgeous and the sunflowers *are* yellow, but....why GC didn't put lemons, lemon trees or heck...even lemon pound cake on that label is beyond me! 🤔🍋Thanks for sharing.
How am I just discovering your channel? Great reviews! I’m a brand ambassador for both Kringle & Homeworx & I agree that the Homeworx wicks are terrible. They’ve been so inconsistent over the past few years. Personally, I don’t trim those wicks at all. My late 2023 pours perform better, although the wicks are still thin. I give them 5 hours in a hurricane on first burn. I put them out with a wick dipper which helps me adjust the wicks. It feels a bit high maintenance, but I just can’t quit the brand because I love Harry’s blends. Also, I’ve done individual reviews on candles I’ve received in PR as well as some I haven’t. In fact, most of the times the candles I get in PR get WORSE reviews than the ones I purchase myself. 😂 Violet BB Tarte was strong for me, but I bought it from QVC. I also love burning complimentary scents throughout my home (but no more than 3).
It’s sad to hear this version of Blueberry Cheesecake isn’t strong. The first version was a 9/10 for sure but I keep hearing newer pours are weak. It’s actually sad to see Limoncello is also on the weaker side knowing that one was super strong in the past. Yeah, him comparing Blueberry Cheesecake to Scentworx Blueberry Pumpkin is wild and he definitely got that one wrong. Thank you for giving us your take on these candles. Highly appreciated and respected
I really like the Bazaar 11" Wood Hurricane that can be found on Belk. It's inexpensive and has a small footprint. Also, the glass top is removable to be washed whenever it needs it.
I also reviewed Blueberry Cheesecake and it was lackluster. My pour date was 2/9/2023 & purchased at a TJX store and got a very low strength. I ended up returning my backup, so you are not alone. When I was done burning it, I was very confused because I've seen it in people's top HW or the strongest HW list🫨
Marie, I remembered seeing your review & being puzzled that you had such a poor experience because it’s always been a powerhouse for me. However, you know that I still think the candles at TJX & similar stores didn’t pass quality control. Who knows if that’s true, but it’s my theory. 🤪
Always appreciate the live burning videos with many candles to talk about at once. Thank you for the reviews!!
My pleasure!

They do their job very well and help the candles perform better, so that's two thumbs up in my book
Thank you for the burn reviews on these Kevin🤗🤗
You're welcome!
I love the update videos like this from you so glad to see you doing them again
Glad you like them!
I had the same experience as you with blueberry cheesecake so you're not alone!!
Would have loved smelling that one at its full potential!
Which was your favorite lemon dessert after burning them all? Try the bbw lemon poundcake if you havent already!
Yes I agree Kevin, try BBW Iced Lemon Pouncake if you have not already. I just burned a BBW Iced Lemon poundcake and had another in a warmer, so good!
I'll be stopping by Bath & Body Works tomorrow to see if it's in stock
Oh no Blueberry cheesecake was my favorite for the past few springs I would keep burning just to see if it throws eventually
It's getting relegated to the bedroom!

Worst candle I've burned this spring from any company

Especially at the prices we're paying nowadays

Right there with ya! Quitting HomeWorx wont ever happen, they satisfy more than they dont. Thanks for stopping by!

Thank you as always for stopping by!
where can I obtain a hurricane to fit a homeworx candle?
I really like the Bazaar 11" Wood Hurricane that can be found on Belk. It's inexpensive and has a small footprint. Also, the glass top is removable to be washed whenever it needs it.
That looks like a fire hazard. :)
You’re not wrong 🫠
