  • Your comments help me stay sober! I had a Zoom call scheduled yesterday with Eddie Simon. I forgot to follow up with him, and he wasn't on the call. I decided to turn the call into an opportunity to reply to some of your comments. Watch this Zoom gone wild and let me know if any of the comments and replies resonate with you! We all benefit from a little support in recovery.

    Thanks Brother,
Still recovering from a seismic binge. Been sick all day. Really looking for any inspiration. I physically won't be able to survive this much longer.
    Bless you

Sorry to hear that! Have you considered getting to an ER ? At least there, they may be able to determine the extent of your health and replenish your hydration and maybe some food.

I posted on a video you posted over a year ago. Since my wife died I'm a drunk.
I've been trying these past days to reduce and quit. I already tried cold turkey and my body was no.
I've been successful the past couple days driving a few and going through the night sweats and continue to reduce.
It isn't prefect. I'm afraid I'll just buy the 12 pack again and go full blown back.

@angrydinosaur6972 , My heart extends to you for the loss of your wife. When I got back from my first tour in Iraq, I drank my grief and figured..why the heck not! It worked for a little while, and then it was a decade later, and I was still medicating my sadness. The damage was beginning to show, and because I was drinking my trauma.. I never addressed the PTSD I would later be diagnosed with. Over the following decade, nobody I lost downrange would miraculously come back, and my family would catch the fallout of my inability to cope unless I was drunk. My friend, try going to a meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous.. even if that's not your thing, because at a minimum, you will be around people who know exactly where you're coming from. That commonality saved my life. Let me know own if I can be of assistance. Feel free to let me know own if there's anything that I can help with. "Easy does it"

Trying to remain positive…a lot of changes..can’t go into some..my husband and I are here for our grandkids…so hard to watch the down spiral of your loved one and can’t do anything other than moral support…I’m just sad today…
