Hmmm but zzssharka, there is a lot of insider knowledge to any culture or tradition, so it would really be senseless to agree someone who's not jewish has all of thar, and also understanding all the Hebrew words will be pretty impossible when you're not jewish (I am not Jewish, yes I still laughed at it but it would just be very ignorant to claim I got all the jokes)

Very cute, but I like to add, that if Jews had a Christmas Tree, and all the work an decoration, the holiday would take much longer, Jews love Holidays.Another on is how about the insects in the tre, mother might go to our Kosher food (like the lettuce) so we will need to bring the משגיח כשרות.Another is that every tree needs to have a patch of COR (kosher) on it, as on Vegis and fruit.Only than to say the bracha Shahechianu (שהחיינו)Feu....it is so much work! It is not worth it for 1 day, only........

Only a comedian could come up with a humorous take on the compulsive obsessiveness that infests Rabbinic Judaism. You go into a Jewish Orthodox Bookstore and half of the books on Shabbat, hundreds are all about how to observe Shabbat. Not any drash or Meshallim just a bunch of do do this and dont do that, this is Muktzeh, this is Bishul this creating fire to the point observing Shabbat has all the simcha of walking thru a minefield. Shabbat was made for man and no man has a right to turn it into something akin to a Medical, Legal, etc volume of works to pass the test and get licensed as it were
--I bought the first volume of this book upon its official release. I was optimistic in observance back then. How telling that he had revise it with more stringencies, like there were not enough. and with 2 additional volumes released, you have 1500 pages of Rabbic Dictums to drone thru. What kind of Oneg Shabbat can you have when you your guide books have more pages then the amount of Shabbat hours in a years. God save us.
    .
Shemirat Shabbat Kehilchatah, also pronounced Shemiras Shabbos Kehilchosoh, (Hebrew: שמירת שבת כהלכתה‎‎ translation: "keeping Shabbat according to its law", published in English as Shemirath Shabbath[1]) is a book of halachah authored by Rabbi Yehoshua Yeshaya Neuwirth, which discusses the laws of Shabbat and Yom Tov, and is viewed by many as an authoritative work regarding these laws. Rabbi Neuwirth is a prominent student of Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Auerbach, and the book generally follows Rabbi Auerbach's opinions. The book discusses practical situations such as driving to a hospital on Shabbat in an emergency.
The book rules in accordance with Rabbi Moses Isserles (the Rema), i.e. according to the practice of Ashkenazic Jews. Because the book is popular and Sephardic Jews wish to use it also, Rabbi Yehuda Lavi Ben-David wrote a commentary of notes called Badey Hashulchan (Hebrew: בדי השלחן‎‎ translation: "Poles of the table") which delineates the opinions of Sephardic poskim.
The second edition of Shemirat Shabbat Kehilchatah has been translated to English and published by Feldheim.[1]
    VolumesTwo volumes came out:
The original volume; discusses which acts are permitted or prohibited to do on Shabbat. (שמור את יום השבת - Guard the Shabbat day)Published many years later; discusses the halachot of Kiddush and davening (prayer) of Shabbat. (זכור את יום השבת לקדשו - Remember the Shabbat day to sanctify it)
    ControversyThe
book has been published in two different versions. After the first
version was published, Rabbi Neuwirth was pressured to change many of
his rulings, so in the second version many stringencies (chumrahs) were added, and the footnotes stated that there was an alternative lenient opinion.[citation needed] Rabbi Yaakov Yisrael Kanievsky attacked the book in a sharply worded footnote in his book Chayei Olam, and some other rabbis from the Lithuanian tradition supported him. However, the prominent Gedolim who wrote glowing Haskamos (letters of approbation) to the book presumably disagreed. Besides Rabbi Auerbach, these include Rabbi Yechezkel Abramsky, Rav Moshe Feinstein, Rabbi Yosef Breuer, and Rabbi Yechiel Yaakov Weinberg. Moreover, in 1993, about two years before his death, Rabbi Auerbach published a collection of footnotes and corrections to Shemirat Shabbat Kehilchatah, thus further strengthening its stature as an accepted work of halakhic decision-making.

      sabath laws are really simple.
      dont put fire/electricty.
      dont work in any means.
      go to beit kneset.
and some avoid getting things out and in there house becouse a law that is not specific enough.
most of the problems come from modern times technology and ways try to get around the laws with technology and loop holes in laws .
the arguments are about the grey areas of the law and loopholes.
most arguments are just about the bible isnt specific enough about (and there are tons of stuff in that catagory).

(67)And [recall] when Moses said to his people, "Indeed, Allah commands you to slaughter a cow." They said, "Do you take us in ridicule?" He said, "I seek refuge in Allah from being among the ignorant."
(68)They said, "Call upon your Lord to make clear to us what it is." [Moses] said, "[ Allah ] says, 'It is a cow which is neither old nor virgin, but median between that,' so do what you are commanded."
(69)They said, "Call upon your Lord to show us what is her color." He said, "He says, 'It is a yellow cow, bright in color - pleasing to the observers.' "
(70)They said, "Call upon your Lord to make clear to us what it is. Indeed, [all] cows look alike to us. And indeed we, if Allah wills, will be guided
(71)He said, "He says, 'It is a cow neither trained to plow the earth nor to irrigate the field, one free from fault with no spot upon her.' " They said, "Now you have come with the truth." So they slaughtered her, but they could hardly do it.

sooksisnomofo lashor hara is a pure truth. speaking lashor hara is the worst avera even worse than 3 cardinal sins combined. making jokes out of Rabbis creates a subconscious feeling that what they say can be questioned and that is a huge problem. everything this guy says in this video is funny and how he explains the imaginary masechta with machlokets is true, however the intention here is to make fun and question the validity and seriousness of everything else said by the rabbis.
