POV : if you were a kid in the 2000s , the first thing you get when search the word " spider-man " on either google or yahoo , one of the first images that will pop is this guy crawling up the wall
TRUE! the first thing you see when you searched up spider-man is either raimi spider-man related or the cover art for both of the ps1 spidey games.
It's also from the cover of the PS1 Spider-Man game, it's beautiful

Weird to say, but I actually kinda prefer how his in game classic suit model looks from the PC/Dreamcast versions. Not counting the pixelation in cutscenes, but just the overall design of the suit.
Yeah it’s awesome. Cool thing: On Nexus, look Neversoft Spider-Man Suits in the Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered category. That mod includes all the Dreamcast/PC costumes.

Good. But a bit too orange
In some instances, it looks too orange. Others it looks perfect. Also the colors vary from image to image when you look up the 2000 cover art.
Wait hold on that was a cg model❓😭😭 for my whole life i thought those were paintings 😭
this mod excellently brought the spider-man from the cover art of spider-man and spider-man 2 enter electro to life, god damn its a 1:1, just look at the distinct and unique webbing from the mask and the back as well as the front spider (which only half of it is visible from the enter electro cover) that's as close as you can get to the cover art as humanly possible, kudos to the modder for this amazing mod!
although i have 2 problems with it
1) the red is orange, it looks like the modder used a washed up image of the cover art for a reference point, a recolor of this suit would be phenomenal!
2) the lenses shown here are from the alternative version of the first game's cover art, the rims are much thicker when compared to the main cover art, which has much thinner black rims (there's nothing wrong with them, matter of fact they're great...i just personally hated them since childhood 💀💀)
3) (not a big one) the back logo, could use a few tweaks here and there
You’re on point about the lenses! I noticed that too. I also remember them being thicker on the alternative cover art. I’m surprised the author found that cover art when I had to actively search for it.
@@y3ldarb2 the funny thing is that the poster with the thicker lenses is actually the main poster while the one with narrow lenses was actually the alternative poster that wasn't used.
I saw that the modder has a second option for thin rims on the lenses. It’s on the nexus page in the description. Cool!
Comparing the two, I’m actually kinda digging the thicker borders over the thinner ones, even though I’m used to the common cover art. Don’t know how to explain why I prefer it.
Side note, the thinner version reminds me of the Dreamcast/PC port and TAS.
@@y3ldarb2 yeah found out about this a couple of days ago, I'm beyond thankful that the modder even thought of this, i don't know why but I'm also preferring the one with the thicker rims over the thinner ones despite hating on how they looked on the poster since i was a kid...maybe it's because i just got a better look at them? I also don't know how to explain this.
Now that you pointed it out, yeah the one with the thinner rims does remind me of spider-man the animated series.
