Oh, this is rampant in the food industry. Like here in Canada how all these fast food chains claim they can't find Canadian workers, so were getting "temporary foreign workers" from India to do 12hr shifts with their wages heavily subsidized by the government. It's one of the key reasons why youth unemployment is so high. Illegal/mass immigration, and the government's failure/refusal to address it, has always been about sourcing cheap, easily exploitable labour. Which is why I give no credit to labour organizations or supposedly pro-labour political parties like the NDP. They know this is going on, so why aren't they raising a stink? It's one bing racket.
A lot of middle class wealth is built on cheap prices and there are only so many ways to keep prices down. If the shareholders want to make bank, the workers want to be payed properly and the ingredients aren't absolute dogshit, the product can't be cheap.
As a fellow Canadian, I know that 60% of our GDP is tied up in the real estate market. Hence our goyverment producing artificial scarcity via invasion of Indians. So the second that collapses we're screwed. Of course, it's the same in America too. They think their current house price reflects its value in the market when it's actually where the government is storing most of it's debt. So whenever the housing market ACTUALLY corrects (still hasn't done so, even 2008 wasn't enough) all the 'wealth' is going to disappear since it was, after all, stored debt. But don't tell the Boomers.

Not covered here, but A TON of the jobs we've lost is thanks to the shipping industry. When you get cheap products from across the globe and wonder why it's so cheap, it's because the manufacturing/shipping is literally that cheap. So in order for shipping companies to make bank, they lobbied tons of manufacturing to go overseas so they could facilitate international shipping (especially trans-Atlantic). Also, rail can cover about 90% of the shipping semi's do in North America. But once again, lobbying has us NOT using our rail system to its fullest. There's a huge racket around inefficiency since so many jobs are dependent on it. In Canada for example, they keep hiring 10s of thousands more nurses because of hospital wait times. Meanwhile, they PUT A HARD CAP on the number of doctors and specialists both allowed to graduate and operate in Canada. The same people who would eliminate the backlog entirely. They also refuse to operate 24/7. Which makes no sense. There's a massive demand. But they artificially limit supply. Why? 'Job creation'. But they would need to sack 100,000 nurses if they didn't have 2+ year wait times. Get it? It's all make-work jobs. Most administration jobs as BS too. Especially in schools.
So that thing regarding fast food employees replaced with robotics, there were some mcdonalds drive thrus that implemented an AI to take orders and that AI would make TONS of screw ups that people have recorded since it was implemented so maybe we should just train the employees to do a better job and have them follow the old 80’s training video or whatever instead of replacing them with a machine they CLEARLY havent tested enough

The most common ones I can remember over the last few years were the Japanese steel knives and Scottish land lords, both owned by the same venture capital company, Raid, and Fleet Command. The first two were scams, Raid is Raid, and the last one is a shitty mobile game.
It's not just sponsored services/products, but UA-camr merch as well.
For everything like Linus Sebastian's screwdrivers and his loop-fastening cable ties along with Stephen "Steve" Burke's toolkits and anti-static mats, there's stuff like Ryan Kaji's cash-grab toys and Jimmy Donaldson's 'Lunchly' lunch packages.
@@Code7Unltd Thanks, Steve.
@@Gorbzbetter help as well
*Goodbye, fresh!*
Be fine with ppl getting replaced by robots ? Hello neuro-sama 😅
I never in my life have used meal delivery services, then again I live next to a local market so it's not necessary, yet it's still so weird how people use these services that usually lead to some form of exploitation or indentured servitude of sorts. Leave it to unscrupulous corpos to take advantage of terrible border policies.
there was a time when the leftist position was to accuse republicans of wanting the border wide open to suppress wages, lol oops
I don't think there is any of these youtuber sponsor products that doesn't have something illegal, unethical, or misleading the consumers.
Inspector Kirsche is on the case!!
I always side these companies that sponsor every UA-camr under the sun because they're always involved in shady business. First BetterHelp, now this.
Any company desperate enough to sponsor UA-camrs should just automatically be considered a scam.
Have you not seen the recent honey video by Megalag? Then there was the brightcellars scandal a few years ago. Don't forget kamikoto knives and their other scam with the Scotland land BS.
It seems like nearly half of all sponsors are scammers. Another large section of them just sell terrible products, the only ones worth anything are the ones selling basic items everyone actually needs, like ridge and vessi where it's hard to scam with.
@@timothyfinch7295 UA-cam now is what TV had been back then. Even traditional TV had (and still has) skeevy advertisers, nowadays skeevy TV advertisers target older audiences instead.
TV's ambulance-chasing lawyers, healthcare referral hotlines, Native American casinos and generic 'enhancement pills' are not too different from UA-cam's Lunchly/Prime (e-Celeb merch, point stands), ExpressVPN, Raycon or Raid Shadow Legends.
Remember Candid, the free speech app that turned out to be a connection miner research project created by some activist academics? A bunch of toobers took that bait without doing the least due diligence.
@@harbl99 And the icing on the cake? The origin of that "Candid" was in a former Google employee that has a history of setting up companies that would creatively craft ways to not dole out money (even her shopping service, Aiyo, had a tax fraud scheme on their backend) and not take criticism too well along with promotion through giveaways.
The giveaways were mostly giftcards, with the items being electronics (phones, Apple smart watches and three [1 AMD, two Nvidia] video cards) and two youtubers giving away toys (LordDraconical gave Nerf Mastodon Blasters while The Hacksmith gave away Captain America shields).
Also, the name was stolen from an anonymous journal app by Gyubok Balik.
the kind of work children and teenagers used to get. where simpler work not around heavy machinery. like delivery and maybe a cashier
Aurora, Illinois huh... damn that town changed a lot since Wayne's World apparently...
10:00 I will point out that Kiba says that Factor_ offers her the best rates so maybe for smaller UA-camrs they crank up the rates to hook them?
"Fagyu Regulators"
Fruedian Slip.
So to be fair: I've worked at companies that utilize these temporary staff agencies, and the company practically has no control over who the agency initially sends. That's supposed to all be handled by the agency so it usually ends up falling more on them.
A lot of the time they send convicted felons
Ain't no way i got a factor ad after this video was done, it's jover man
1:05 holy shit aliens are real
5:00 we are everywhere
That's a shame. I enjoy the insane Hello Fresh ad spots that Ian Brutalmoose does in his videos.
Or just pay people decent and treat them better. Cut a little fat at the top and you would not have to worry about profit.
The Raptor screech startled me
I guess you could say they were in-fresh-tigated
Thanks for bringing this issue to light!
Eyy shout out to my boy Callum!
I thought Hello Fresh used monkeys..
Monkeys write the jokes.
Coconut farmers in Thailand use monkeys to harvest from the trees. Funnily the article I found specified that male monkey works twice as hard as female.
Hahahah! ~@01:00 "Rabor..." shouldn't that be; "yabor"?? I THINK the demography's have changed... XD Besides, who better knows tropical fruits?! Ooof! Too soon??? XD
And yeah, I was working freaking fast food @ 13... But then again, my folks and I had to apply for an actual work permit, until I finally turned 16 that is, and didn't need one. Born here, in America, too. : )
Look, if you were understaffed packing your meal kits, just put an ad in the local newspaper; you probably would've gotten more people do the work for whatever amount.
As you'd expect the quality of the food is pretty questionable.
hellodicus freshlin in shambles...
I used HelloFresh for one free meal to try, and it got here spoiled. Never again lmao
You'd think I'd be shocked to learn about this. And yet...
Hello Fresh? Hello Lack-of-ethics!
So thats why it was so good. Say what you want about how messed up the situation is, but aint nobody accusing them of not knowing how to cook
3:14 Fact Check, any non citizen can submit a document known as a I-765 to receive an EAD “Employment Authorization Document” which fulfills the same role of an SSN in terms of allowing employers to legally pay a non citizen and for that pay to be properly taxed.
Edit; An EAD may also be used by migrant asylum seekers to apply for an actual SSN after being approved to stay by their asylum trial.
Wow. First Honey scamming the customers AND the people advertising for them, now Hello Fresh doing shady shit
If a UA-camr is promoting it. It's qualitatively trash.
Better Help (Scam)
Honey (Scam)
Hello Fresh (Scam)
the list is ever so expanding.
Dear god, Sseth was right.
Somehow I'm not surprised. These guys started in Europe and had a big facility close to where I worked in the Netherlands. Every morning I would pass by there with a bus. Their entire workforce seemed to be migrants and they all looked miserable. They had a huge fence around the property but riding past you could look inside. Looked like prisoners.
But is the food good?
Why should a company follow the law when the government won't?
Hello Fresh and Honey in the same day. Oof
I'm sure midway staffing's owned by one of hello freshes buddies, and exists entirely to fold and reopen doing the same shit when this sort of thing is discovered.
That sucks, I’m still gonna eat my factor tho. Maybe that’s why the Mexican food was so good tho.
How long til we find out something crazy about GamerSupps?
I got a Hello Fresh link below the video
