The real answer is that there ARE no wrong notes and/or if it really is wrong then you can just correct it by hitting the correct note right after it, then the "mistake" just became a passing tone

this q&a was doubtless after he wrote the song 'You're Only Human'. I was immediately reminded of it when he talked about mistakes being our only original things. The lines I was reminded of were "You're not the only one who's made mistakes
But they're the only thing that you can truly call your own".

Billy had a band from '76 to the mid 80s that rivalled E Street, Silver Bullet, Heartbreakers...anyone. Now he just has hired guys who play like hired guys

@thelevisullivan Rivera is great too and a near perfect replacement for Cannata. Not saying the people he plays with now aren't great at what they do but it's sorta (for me) when Bruce ditched E Street in the 90s for the "Other Band". There's just a vibe, groove and feel that's missing. I mean could he write an album like 52nd Street today? Possibly, probably. But it wouldn't sound like 52nd Street

Wish Billy would've addressed why he'd let Stegmeyer and Javors go. Whenever he does bring up either of those two (which is rare), he always paints it like they left on their own accord.

That’s funny, relationship with your band, he kicked out his drummer for 30yrs plus, got sued and then settled out of court. He kicked out Doug Stregneir who then committed suicide as s result of depression of not being in the band,
From my own personal experience, Joel is an arrogant nasty piece of work, an amazing musician and songwriter, but that doesn’t make you a decent man.

Billy shouldn't change his accent when he's speaking depending on the crowd he's speaking to. He should just be himself.

I lose respect for Bryan Herber when he sets ridiculous expectations for others. If he is going to take that attitude, then he has to be sure to be “offended” every single time any person does any accent that is not their own. Self righteous bullshit.
