Installing my AprilAire E070 Dehumidifier in Crawlspace

It was hard finding a good video on installing this little gem, the E070! So I hope this helps someone else as you install yours. So far I am loving the results of this dehumidifier!
This dehumidifier is built for the crawlspace and does NOT tie into HVAC system.

Good video, thanks. I am looking at getting one of these to replace my 3 year old Santa Fe Compact 70. The unit is leaking condensate, this AprilAire seems like a better unit.

Warranty only valid if professionally installed.

I installed the safety switch, and I could see that if you didn't install that then the warranty might not be valid, but I didn't see anywhere that says warranty valid only if professional installs. The unit was $1,500. To have a professional install it was going to cost $4,500. I think I made the right decision. Everything is still working great.

dude, little wheel dollie is like $10. used to move furniture. looks like that would have done well there.

Actually the ground is covered with a vapor barrier and underneath there are many rocks. It wasn't that difficult to slide on the cardboard box.
