looking back at her set from 3 years ago, it's incredible how much she's come out of her shell and become so confident!
It's beyond tragic that dancing behind the decks and lip syncing are now something that has to be done in order to get people more interested in a mix which should be about the music
@@pfhrmb, I didn't think it's a trend. Personally I find it more fulfilling when the DJ is dancing / visibly having fun behind the decks - when I watch or at least take glimpses at a video of a set. Otherwise it's more akin to an audio recording. Given that I consume these sets on one of my monitors at work, I feel like I'm at a party when I have a more energetic DJ set video. May be not necessary the DJ, but then either a friend, dancers or even a crowd. It's a small reminder of what being physically at such an event was like ...
My brother was a DJ for a while and he had a DJ mentor in a local club. Way back in ~2012 the mentor told him not to be stiff, to engage with the audience, visibly have fun with playing the songs - it's an enriched experience.
PS: I still enjoy just listening to sets and songs - it's just that "dancing DJ" sets are an alternative that I prefer in some situations.

@@pfhrmb "Yeah, my dog's a DJ, and my cat is a producer." Gotta stand out in a crowd of thousands of other DJs. For me though, it was the spelling of "weeeirdos" that made me click this one instead of the hundreds of other INCREDIBLE sets that HOR has.

@@MunkayPunchit’s a remix of Miss Jane - it’s a fine day. The most known is the trancy version (ABB Club mix) but she plays a new mix I’ve never heard before! I have to say I’m not a big fan of this new mix but at least it brings something fresh to the original

@@godswittness69 It can't be put into words. It's something that's felt with the heart, rather than logically with the mind. I just know that Lolsnake's sets really get me pumped, more than anyone else I've heard on HOR so far. Viscerale and Tigerhead are also truly amazing.
