I looked at it today and it looks like it should come out by removing a few screws but I unfortunately I didn't have time to try removing it.

Can you remove the battery and charge ?

There are three ways to charge. You can use the dock, you can charge the vac directly with the battery installed or you can charge the battery on its own.

I got this and after 3 months it shuts off after 5 seconds. I’ve tried everything. Waste of money .

That would make me think it isn’t charging. I would check the connections and if there isn’t anything noticeably wrong, contact the seller.
