Growing up my dad was super into fitness (collegiate national level swimmer, still does half ironman's today at 65), but instead of instilling positive fitness ideals into me, he helped create an insanely toxic relationship with working out and food that i'm still working through today (24 years old now). It's amazing seeing someone like Eddy taking his son through workouts and being positive and patient, as opposed to what I was put through by my father and it brings a tear to my eye every time I see something like this. Max will 100% remember these moments and look back in fondness and gratefulness and it's such an amazing privilege and I'm so happy he has someone like his dad in his life

Time under tension doesn’t meen you need to do half reps…
It’s about full range of motion, stretching the muscle an contracting the muscle at the end of the rep. 15-20 reps a set and choose a weight that makes you fail within that 15-20 rep range by then, you could choose to do some half reps because you’ve had the right amount of time under tension. Bodybuilding is not about light weights and just a lot of reps, because you’re only doing warmup sets basically.

Love to see you bonding with your kid while teaching him to take care of his body and becoming disciplined. I feel kinda bad for saying this and being part of adding to the preasure your kid probably goes through being the son of the worlds strongest man but I cant wait to see what he's like when he grows up if he decides to follow in your footsteps. such an early start with such an experienced and loving coach/father and probably having some impeccable genetics, he'll probably be a fucking menace one day, a better beast.
