Been to New Orleans many times, seen quite a few second lines, it never gets old. A friend lives in Treme and one time a second line passed her house about two minutes after I got to her house. That was the best welcome ever.
It’s the energy for me! I love the energy out there. Everyone is having a good time and dancing it’s a vibe that I can definitely appreciate ❤️

Interview a few people as if you were in another city / country so they can share their excitement to be there (see it from the eyes of a tourist because other people who are not from there will see these New Orleans videos) because NEW ORLEANS IS SOMETHING DIFFERENT! My mother’s side of the family is from there and I lived there for 3 years. So, I’ve experienced second lines as well as Mardi Gras several times. There’s no place like NOLA 👑

🤩I've been to New Orleans many many times and have done ALL of the other stuff but I have never participated in anything like that. I’m gonna have to visit just to do this. I thought they only had those music parades / lines during Mardi Gras.
😩Although I want to participate, NO, I wouldn’t like to live on a street where they do those Second Lines / parades. 😂🤣

I love those! I've never been to one in New Orleans (which is a MUST now) but I did experience one randomly while in Panama City, Panama. And y'all drank Long Island's on an empty stomach??? I need to come party with y'all next time I'm in NOLA lol. Maybe yall should do tours while there?

It looks like a lot a fun, is there places to use the bathroom, you mention places for Drinks and rest, what about the bathrooms ? 😂
Tbh…no bathroom spots…but there’s always a gas station or a store around that you could use, during Mardi Gras businesses usually charge or shut down their bathrooms because of the overcrowding 😀 it you will always find a place
Y’all should stay at a haunted bed and breakfast in the Quarters or in the River Parishes.

It’s Second Line season. During this season there is usually a second line either up town or downtown.
Part 2: I'm not being rude. I'm not privileged to be there in person. Only watch on TV. I call it a parade. I've seen parade people perform. The only performing I see here is the crowd of people fallowing outside the rope. Maybe they should switch sides of the rope.
U have to be there to really get the whole experience. It’s not a parade, though.
