This arc still has the best visually stunning battles in anime in my opinion
They went so hard, the next arc looked really bad
She's finally at the start of what makes this season the best
Chat definitely helped but I was impressed - you're one of the few reactors that picked up first run through the dialogue that he just was not breathing. In the manga they cover it a bit more that Tanjiro had basically gone past his physical limit, but he was so angry his will to stop her pushed him that far. Had he actually finished the blow, he would've gone past what they called the spiritual limit, and he would have just died right there. Almost wish they did kind of set that up more, because it makes the dialogue from his younger brother about Tanjiro and Nezuko make even more sense - they get so angry for others they forget about themselves and tend to just put themselves in harms way.
Tanjiro going past his stamina threshold (life limit) meant death, but since Nezuko is a demon her rage allowed her to morph for the first time.
I will never not get chills over the fact that Muzan, the lord of all demons, was terrified of a human down to the cellular level. Imagine giving the ultimate demon in the world PTSD on that level.

@@FlexiejayAnime The red hair guy with hanafuda earings (Tanjiro's earing/ well Tanjiro inherited it from him) in Muzan memories is not someone you will expect it will be.
I'm so happy to see that you really let that moment with Shinjurō's letter to Tanjirō really shine. So many reaction channels skip it or just kind of breeze right through it, and it's my favorite part of the episode. Such a great character moment.
11:50 its crazy that in that whole time Tanjiro wasn't breathing at all, but just like us the audience we were holding our breath too!!

I love that moment when Tanjiro's eyes bleed. As the theme song for this arc says, "if you're not chosen, then choose yourself". Very powerful. And the scene with Rengoku's dad gets me emotional too.
