Very interesting. Theres a spectrum of students we need to take seriously as well. My Son is of High School age but is mentally handicapped and goes to a special academy in my area. They have two sections of that school, my son is in the regular academic section and they have a section for kids that show a lot of violence. That makes up 1/3 about 20 students. Can't say if any are killers but my son does tell me when the police or ambulance show up. I did the math. Just with the data from my sons academy 1% of the upcoming citizens in my county are already violent in nature and Im not even adding in the regular Ed High School yet.

The no child left behind policy put convicted felons in the classroom with the other students but most parents do not know this. I had students that were expelled from the five surrounding counties because the system wanted the federal funds. Take care and stay safe.
