The Asus Zenfone 5Z has a 6.2 inch Full HD+ IPS display with an iPhone X like notch at the top.
The Zenfone 5Z has the newer Snapdragon 845 underneath along with 4/64, 6/128 and 8/256 gigs of RAM and Internal Storage respectively.
The Asus Zenfone 5Z sports a 3,300mAh battery.
The zenfone 5Z has a 12mp rear OIS+EIS camera and a secondary 8mp 120 degree wide angle camera. It also has an 8mp selfie snapper.
The Asus Zenfone 5Z runs on ZenUI which is based on Android 8.0 Oreo.
The OnePlus 6 comes with a 6.28 inch AMOLED Full HD+ panel and has a notch to the top of the display.
Internally they run on the latest chipset from Qualcomm- the Snapdragon 845 and are available in 6/64 8/128 and 8/256 GB RAM and storage variants.

These speed tests are like race between 2 formula one cars. Just because one came first doesn't mean the other one is slow, it all comes down to little tweaks and experience of driver (Here the companies). They both are equivalently good, so you can choose whatever you like and can afford.

Kunal Wasnik I am using the zenfone 5z for 2 weeks and I have a Oneplus 6 too. So, using both the devices I can say that you can't tell a difference in day to day usage bt in a speed test Zenfone is definitely faster.

Asus is the clear winner. Take two phones side by side & try it, you will come to know who takes lead & the clear winner. But pls take 2 6gb ram variants for better understanding & clarity.
You should have done a 3-way speed test with Asus Zenfone 5z(with AI boost) vs Xiaomi MI 8 (with MIUI 10) vs OnePlus 6.

Shubham Khamaru nah, it never boost performance at first time. AI boost just gets adapted with app user loads. So, with AI boost, if same apps were launched in same sequence everytime, after 5-6 times, Asus 5z may get 5-10 second faster. On real day-to-day life both are equally fast for sure.

Zen UI will bring the 5z down within a few months.
Asus isn't experienced enough like Samsung to sustain such a heavy UI.

Even though oneplus 6 I still feel Zenfone 5z is better value for money product except for camera but overall Asus has really impressed this year hope they continue to bring more competition and oh yaa the 6gb ram variant of Zenfone max pro M1 is coming :)

When using for Video Calls, it generates a pixelated image of you , (Whatsapp / Duo ).

Po-tay-to Po-tah-to..Both are blazingly fast...6 sec is hardly a deal breaker. If u want the best VFM, go with Asus. If u want the best in price range even if u are ready to put in 6k more, go with OP. Either way, u aren't gonna be disappointed.
Man I see this guy is a bit biased on Zenfone 5z, even in that comparison video he chose Zenfone's camera over op6 was insane, I used it side by side op6 all day fa me, u can't jus compare these 2 man cause op6 screen quality n camera quality is way higher than Zenfone's, u have to interact with your mobile screen all day so should compare n take this as a big factor in comparing these 2 devices, also talk about software fa a moment oxygen OS is miles a head of Zenfone's shity os n update n community support from op is top notch, one n only leap fa Zenfone is their service availability but moreover u won't get too many issues with ur mobile, so guys if u r confused in selecting one out of these 2 spend 3k more n get op6 it's worth it.

I had asus zenfone 2 2gb ram
It is one of the shittiest phones i have ever used.
I never droped it but both cameras doesn't work. Charging port is not working. But charger does. Screen shows clock in middle for no reasone and covers whatever you watching or doing.
And when i ask asus to fix it they ask for 5 to 6k rs.
Wtf if i want to invest 5 to 6k i will buy new phone that will atleast better than this piece of shit

I'd take the Zenfone 5z. It's cheaper, has much better speakers, expandable storage, I prefer the slightly smaller size/design and 99% of the performance speed of the OnePlus 6. Seems like an easy choice.

Hello, try with Ai Boost actived, you will see that zenfone 5z is faster than one plus 6, AI boost forced SD845 at turn 2.8ghz and optimize RAM...
Analysis
1.Pubg opened few milliseconds faster on Zenfone(maybe due to human error)
2.Temple run opened much faster on Zenfone.
Rest is pretty much similar

Absurd test buddy. I could see you were leaning towards OnePlus and for the bottom apps you moved on quickly as soon as you opened them. For Asus, I could see you waited till it's opened basically u spent at least a sec extra on Asus.
Just got the Zenphone 5Z. It's a great phone. I wanted a phone with expandable storage, but the Oneplus 6 doesn't have it. I'm kind of glad, because I like the wide angle photos that the Zenphone will take.

One tap on the ai boost,and Zenfone 5z will either win or tie,at least that's what I think,what I see is games load faster,and the only reason why one plus won was because it rendered faster which is due to the oxygen os,and no one is gonna spend 5k extra for a 2s delay in rendering

There's nothing wing with 5z. It did great in the test. Kudos to OnePlus on building such an brilliantly optimised phone.
