Great video. I have also been working on a B6000 with a similar problem. There are no ball bearings at all on the steering shaft so the shaft has just been wearing into the edge of the steering gear case.
@@onyxpartitian Yep, that's what I'm planning. I'm also trying to remove the lower bearing race (in the case) so I can get a new lower bearing, otherwise I'll try just filling it with ball bearings stuck in grease. There was one ball bearing left so I know the approximate size.
Where is the transmission oil screen (filter)?

I think the cap is for gear oil not grease.

I would try to go to a local supplier and order a bearing that matches the steering shaft outside diameter, an the inside diameter of the box
