Thank you, you are the FIRST PERSON who clears this up for me...If Jesus died on the cross 2000 years in advance for my sins, why do people still say that when they get sick it is because of sin, so if you believe He did a FINISHED job on the cross, why are people still getting sick? It puts one in a position of: when you are living a life as pure and holy as it is possible in Holy Spirit, then if you do get sick and the first thing another Christian does is: " oh it's some secret sin!" I get to a place where I ask myself, am I sinning that even to me it is a secret? Because I land up wrecking my brain, to try and figure out where and what I have sinned! (Not being arrogant or pretending that I am sinless). But then, do I not in that sense then give the accuser " rights" over me again?
I've worked with people who are disabled. no check or front row parking could ever be worth it. if they cease to want to be well it is no fault of their own but a byproduct of being sick for so long.
Was the story about the cat a true story or a comedy skit? It has the feeling of being written like a joke and the audience sounded like a comedy laugh track. Would God resurrect a cat? Would God undo the spading of a cat? Would someone say the resurrection of a cat is not a miracle? Does this fantastic story told as comedic tall tale inspire faith? Was the story meant to be taken as truth or as a comedic parable illustrating the power of faith? I prefer true stories to comedic tall tales. I’m not trying to judge I am just a bit confused by the story.
There is truly something I do not understand, why do Americans laugh at the most serious, deep truths? I totally understand the humor parts but when it is really stuff that one should think through, they laugh as if it is the biggest joke? Not being nasty, I really just don't understand it. Am I missing something?
No Veronica I don’t believe you are missing anything. In Paul’s day, Peter’s day and the rest of the believers of that time had a sense of AWE about the Lord and Savior. They were not meeting to tell jokes and neither was Jesus on earth to tell jokes to get people to laugh. We all should be on a mission like Jesus was on. While I believe Jim is a great teacher, he and thousands of other Christians just don’t understand how critical it is for EVERY WORD SPOKEN be said with the attitude of “life or death” in every word we say. The minute that jokes are told it takes the mind off of the most important message that could ever be spoken. The people in the congregation need to realize their laughing is a great distraction and they need to think about it. The message of Life that is in Christ Jesus. Let me say again that I believe Jim is a great teacher and God has used him to help me in my walk with Christ.
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe with your heart that God raised him from the dead you will be saved.
Thank you. This helps more than u know. Listening to it over and over till it sinks in. Already expectation rises in me.

GOD can do anything, no impossible and especially wants to show his ability with faith and banishing unbelief and doubts! so this is from GOD
I guess too that only 8% of the ministers will step out of the boat so it behooves us to find that 8% and leave the 92% alone.
