Successive DGPs have been permitting the SHO of Panaji PS to get away with not recording FIR, by simply stating that no offence is made out or the matter is civil in nature without any application of mind even when the offense alleged is violative of IPC and cognizable in nature. ‘The House always wins’. The former DGP has been rewarded with a sinecure at Goa State Police Complaints Authority. Complaints forwarded to the Home Secretary/Chief Secretary are responded with routine replies that the DGP does not care about. The Police Legal and Vigilance Cell will prepare a false document to do a cover-up and demonise the complainant. The SDPO will then ask you to compromise. The District SPs resort to vilifying the complainants and do not take any action against the delinquent SHO. Senior Citizens are not spared either.

This dgp should resign and start business of land dealing in goa. It will be much better than police service. No need of working 30 to 35 years. In goa he can earn crores.
