I just learned a bit more about drains now. But we usually use new products after tear off so all things i will use to my knowlegde. Thanks to this video also.
my only problem is the exposed edge of the iso. many manufacturers will require seperator sheets or the paper face be there as it can prematurely age and damage tpo and pvc membranes. beyond that, i like it. though IBC12 requires the minimum hole cut in the flashing be 4" or the size of the pipe, whichever is bigger.
No drain sump, that's not ideal, but interesting. I believe a general guideline is to keep the center hole at least an inch smaller in diameter than the drain pipe itself while maintaining a 1" minimum amount of PVC inside the drain bolts. Flat and wide drain hubs are also better
Is this for all roofing systems or just some I’m very confused I’ve been roofing for 2 years and I’ve never seen and unsupported patch installed on drains

in 2 years you didn't learn that unsupported comes in 2' rolls? At the 3 minute mark, you can see his measurement for the patch is 35"
And it’s not unsupported that’s actual field membrane cut into a target for the drain
Thank you.
Damn some roofing company don't know what water block is for.
I hate the look of a circled target. We aleays do them squared.
Exelente
is this something from the stone age i only remove them and install new and better ons
Looks like a drain Hub from a previous SBS or BUR roof.
