Tell the builders that you're going to have a drain survey done when they have finished, and if everything is not done correctly you will be getting them back! It might focus their attention.
@@PestInterceptors thanks Got a feeling you’d find our rat problem in the manhole next door but we are next to a brook as well , just hoping the builders don’t add to it 🤞
Hi these videos are great and I’m a pest controller from a family run company I’m just wondering if I could have some advice not trying to take any contracts away or anything silly just wondering sometimes the manhole or drain needed is not always on the property you are working on as sometimes it’s a neighbour property and the drain cover might not be accessible without going through to a gate is there a rule you use maybe to talk to people to let them assess there property to check a drain cover for the house your working on because not everyone I’ve asked has always been so friendly or the people have been on holiday or there car is parked over a drain cover , if the person is not in surely entering there property to check a drain is breaking and entering so was wondering how you go about it it’s not shown in your videos , but great work never the less and if you could reply would mean a lot
@samed1314 it’s all about organisation really and if you get a problem neighbour your customers haven’t arranged access with (sometimes the problem can be many houses away) it’s about how you talk to them. Pointing out that they will have rats soon if you don’t let you do what you need to do usually works. I’m pretty sure there are laws that can be used to gain access to a manhole….but we’ve never had to use them. Good luck
I appreciate your help being from a different company I even watch your videos for advice and help you are great wish you the best with the company and also all the best for wasp season coming looks like it’s going to be a warm busy one thanks , Sam
Once a pipe is shared you shouldn’t touch it because that is the water authorities pipe. You got a choice. Stay rat free or abide by the rules. You decide because one option is full of ratty stress and lots of money to fix your pipes or remain as you are.
As someone with a crippling fear of rats, I didn’t need this video in my recommended 😂
Well at least you now know there is a solution if ever you are unlucky enough to get a rat problem 🤗🫣
@@PestInterceptors that’s true! Cheers for the information
The 2 legged ones normally come through the front door
True, but more often they join political parties and get into government
Another great video lads
Thank you 🤩
We’re waiting planning permission on an extension so this is scary
Always watch what happens where you can’t see….under the floor!
Good luck 🤞🏼

What are the plumbing laws about fitting rat flaps on an outflow? I’ve got mine fitted to the outflow in 2 manholes.
