A Teensy Microcontroller generates the notes based on the pattern on the Launchpads. The pattern is based on “Langton’s Ant” a set of rules which simulates an Ant wandering about. Like it’s in a Maze!
The launchpads act as a screen and keyboard for the Teensy.
The blue pad indicates the position of the “cursor” or index of the sequence.
The NTS-1 synth plays notes based on the position of the Ants (Red and Orange Pads)
The Volca FM plays notes based on the position of the white pads.
The Volca Bass plays notes based on the black pads.
