@JHollowayNetwork Please keep in mind that this might have been an early close down due to no play at Wimbledon. The Test Card went on for ages on the tape, so with 9 taking the tennis off air early it looks like they left the transmitter on for a while overnight. GMV used another test card before merging its programming with BTV Ballarat in December 1988, one with "GMV 6" written in big blocky letters inside a cheap looking test card that looked like if it was done on a Tandy TRS-80. After the merger they changed to the FUBK test card also used by GTV 9 Melbourne.

STV 8 Mildura was also affiliated with VIC TV when this video was made but during their close down they actually use a local STV 8 test card.

4:29 there IS a test card but no tone. All I can say "No work tonight? Screw it smell you TV people Later.."DENIED"
