Yeah, I have come to think of them as my non-biological UA-camr dumpster diving family! Gotta love 'em, right? I have been watching them for so long, I just grew to love them!
On a different note, it is insane how much stuff gets wasted when you think about how many organizations or individuals could benefit from it all. I might would keep a fair amount of whatever for myself, but I would disperse the remainder to charities, shelters, and so forth. I am glad they get it out! But i am disgusted with stores for not donating those items where needed. Shame on them!

Our aldisno longer has any food in it. They have the food bank truck come daily to get the food
That's both good and bad, sad for your diving but glad they are taking the initiative to donate instead of just toss it all.

Come on people....you can’t have it both ways. If it’s empty, they did the right thing by donating and you will have to use your own money to go inside store and buy your things. I think a lot of people get cast iron and don't realized they can't just wash it in the sink and be done with it. I got a cast iron Dutch oven awhile back, it clearly was a return as well, it had been used, looked it they washed it in the sink and sat it aside to dry and it was completely rusted. I'm praying I can save it 🤞
Riley Hill - you can slather it in oil / lard or shortening- and bake it - it will be fine🎄
to clean it use a fresh lemon and table salt ...when it's clean wash ...put it on a stove eye till dry ...then season with "just enough" oil or lard to coat it...I suggest you fry something like potato peels in it a couple of times..just to get it seasoned. Everytime you use it, take a little piece of paper towel and rub it in oil or lard. I hear everyone saying don't wash it with soap...I am 67 and I have always washed mine and reseasoned it. If you want to run it under hot water and dry before you use it. Since yours is so rusted you need to watch Kent Rollins on youtube he shows how to bring back the worst pieces. Love my cast iron
put a crushed aspirin in the vase with the water and the roses will last twice as long ~smiles~ good haul!
i buy the big popcorn filled tins for lots of yard things like birdseed,and since you have children think how they could sort litle toys in them!perfect for lego's!
That was insane.... Frugal daddy reminds me of my brother in law.... He disappears when work needs to be done. Tatar sauce, we use it in the UK, Ireland, Isle of man, cypress, France, Spain etc... Loved the garden angels xx
In The Netherlands we use Tartarsauce too.
Believe it or not, I once worked at a place where someone bought a rototiller, used it to plant their garden, then returned it to the store. You should never be surprised at the things some people might do. Your Christmas meal must be so interesting! Not only will you have the "normal" stuff, but so many exotic things from your dives. I hope you and fertile patty have fun with your family.

I am in NC we have an ALDI here I am tempted to dumpster dive myself but I am chicken shit to do it...for the first time in my life we actually dumpster doved/dived in CVS whatever yesterday with my husband, I asked one of the workers who was there if we can get a box, responded by saying Be my guess...he was nice about it.So there my husband and I did it...lol next time I think I will go to ALDI and will let you know what I see ...love your family. They probably didn't season the griddle. Beverages you can wash off and save for guests! Myself drink Diet soda, but can use regular Coke for cleaning toilets, battery post on battery in your car etc.. Sprite if someone's ill. Your soooooo lucky in your finds! My favorite video's is when you found all those cases of meat or 2 day's. Love, love your videos!

I rescued 25 bras, 11 underwear a box of diapers, and a lot of other stuff tonight.everything with tags ,most on hangers. I just dont get it.
You clearly don’t understand business. You can only write a certain amount off to donations per year, and even with that, you only get a small percentage to deduct. It’s all about P&L’s with business. It’s life. It’s just the way it is. And thankfully living in America, we get to choose to throw out anything we want to, it’s called Freedom.
And other’s get to reap the benefits of it. It actually works out pretty good. So tired of people writing “that makes me mad, why didn’t they donate it”...because people, they get better write off on taxes for it to be written up as a LOSS!! It’s called go to school and get an education and learn P&L 101!!

I'm watching an old dive. I'm fairly new to you. The more I watch, the more I realize we are alot alike. Eerie... My dad gave me yellow roses. It started when I was in a school bus accident when I was 11. When I get them now, I say " thanks " to my dad from the other side. I realize I am a bit quirky due to watching you. That is a great thing.

For that cast iron grill. Sprinkle with salt and baking soda. Boil a sauce pan of hot water and pour onto grill. Leave soak over night and that will come off looking brand new

You should carry a ice cooler, with the re usable cold packs, for the meat and ice cream.
That's a really great idea seen as they get alot of cold stuff. Maybe in future videos we will see your good suggestion at work.
Its freezing out. But yes an insulated container would be helpful. I put bubble wrap in boxes& bags it works like a charm. Diet coke us really bad for your kidneys. Drink water. Did i say drink more water? Just say no to pop not soda nononono.

What a huge haul! Please check the packaging on the candy canes. Xylitol is unfortunately, being used more and more as a sweetener. In the bustle of Christmas activity, the dogs and cats could easily consume a piece of candy cane. If sweetened with Xylitol, it is deadly for the poor pet; it doesn’t take much. Got to watch labels in peanut butter now too. Okay, that’s my PSA for the day!
