I try my best to stay away from civet, a most vile note. I'm a big old school classics lover but I have purposely stayed clear of Kouros and Anteus for this reason. Givenchy Gentleman (1974) is too animalic for me. There is a bit of background animalic funk in Hermes Equipage but I can handle that.
Bottled Intense EDP is still my staple scent, and a personal favorite until this day from the house. Just stocked up on 10 bottles. It will definitely be missed!

I'm glad D&G K is getting some love. I like the fig with pimento and juniper berries. Nice scent. I especially like fig or date scents. This and John Varvatos (date) for example. It gives an overall "chewey" dense texture along with its fruity sweetness. Yes, yes, yes on Terre d'Hermes. An all time classic masterpiece even though its modern. Its timeless already. I have the Parfum, Eau Intense Vetiver, and Eau Tres Fraiche. All three of them are great.
Thanks for the tutorial!! I look forward to wearing King Kouros as well as TdH. I'm really looking forward to giving Bentley's Silverlake a wear. If possible could you give this a review? Keep em coming
Mont Blanc Individuel was my first fragrance that I had to get rid of. Just too synthetic, like dryer sheets, but not in a warm yummy way, just yuk. But Terre D' Hermes...11/10. Totally love it.

Tom Ford Beau De Jour for me, just whilst it is still pretty mild in the UK, but Santorial and Irish Tweed are occasionally brought out, you can't beat Lavender for Spring though. If you are also looking at Lacoste Blanc, Armaf Hunter, even cheaper than Lacoste and it lasts twice as long and it is a fantastic alternative.
TF Beau de Jour is my favorite barbershop fougere, Penhaligon's Sartorial at #2. Barbershop fougeres are generally good spring choices, especially on cool spring mornings.

I found TdH Eau Intense Vetiver to be more pleasant and wearable than the original TdH. If you're looking for something similar to TdH, Montale's Red Vetiver is the closest one I'm aware of. I like H24 as it is pretty unique, but the performance is rather lacking. I need an EDP/parfum version of H24 lol.
Hey Mate love the content! I got a question. I’m in my late teens and can afford 2 colognes, one for school/daily use and one for special occasions what would you recommend?
Cartier Declaration is one of the worst fragrances in history, to my nose. Pure body odor start to finish. Vile. I like to say a fragrance can be as "challenging", artistic, or abstract as its creator wants, but it better at the same time achieve my simple bottomline requisite: smelling good.
