An interesting fact about the Gen'Dai is that their lifespan is so long, they tend to literally go insane. Being near-immortal when it comes to one's lifespan is more of a curse than a blessing. Living for thousands of years, accumulating knowledge, makes their species no strangers to wisdom - many Gen'Dai become thinkers and philosophers, but this kind of overaccumulation of information also makes them extremely susceptible to sociopathic nihilism, giving them a predisposition for sadism and bloodlust. Such is, more or less, the case with the infamous bounty hunter - Durge.

Allen I just wanted to say I watch every video you put out and have been for a while I usually don’t comment but I just want to say thanks I watch these videos before I go to sleep it’s like reading a book keep up the good work!

Togorian: Felinoids who could grow up to three meters tall (basically a Siberian Tiger with human intelligence that can walk upright)
Barabel: Big reptilians who can tank blasters bolts long enough to dismember the guy shooting them.
Barabels are the most underrated species
I think Ewoks belong on the list too, for being small they pack one hell of a punch.

The catlike skull that one of them is wearing, in both legends, and Disney lore, is a serious apex predator no being the size of an ewok should be capable of killing. That's not even getting into how FAST they adapted to the empires technology, for a species that hasn't even made it out of the stone age, it should be impossible. Yet, they just ran with it like they'd always had it.

Leia most likely only THOUGHT she strangled Jabba with her chain, but was ACTUALLY instinctively using force choke and/or force strength. After all,, she was the daughter of a Force demigod and she REALLY wanted to strangle Jabba. Besides, chain or no chain, there is no way her physical strength would have been enough to strangle a Hutt.
Jabba was fat, overweight and not in good shape after being a lazy crime lord. He was also on the older side, apparently being over five hundred years old, meaning he was over halfway through his natural lifespan before being strangled with a big fuck off chain. In addition, she was in his blind spot where his tail and stubby little arms couldn’t reach, so all he could do is thrash about until he died. But considering that to use any kind of Force technique like Force Choke or Force Push, things of that nature, you have to use your hands, and hers were a bit busy holding onto that chain. More likely than not, it was Jabba's laziness that allowed her to kill him.

Enough to lift up a half ton car by the bumper or fender like it’s a fair sized rock, and that just for your average housewife, if you train your muscles, you can lift much more. If she was on adrenaline in that moment, and she most definitely chose fight, she’d have enough strength to pull that chain through his flesh and ensure he would die by strangulation. And she wouldn’t feel the after effects of her actions until the next day, when her arms are screaming at her because of how much stress she put on her muscles, so the rest of what she did on Tatooine would be possible as well.

@@danielduncan6806 I would give you the make and model of my mom's car, which is currently out in the yard, but it’s below -20, and I live out in the country so the wind will cut through you pretty much no matter what. Plus the car is covered in snow so I can’t see the makers mark. But it weighs somewhere between 1500-1800 pounds, weighing a little over a metric ton when fully occupied, provided we go with the average weight of an adult man, that being 170-180 pounds, and four occupants, coming out to about 2480 pounds if it weighs about 1800 pounds. If it weighs 1500 pounds, then the car will weigh just over a metric ton at about 2180 pounds. I should note that it’s a modern vehicle, and will weigh less than a car made in the 1940s to 1950s because the body is primarily made of light and easy to crumple materials, with the engine block and frame being the only real parts made mostly out of steel. If for whatever reason you have a car that weighs over a metric ton when empty, you have a very big car.
Also it’s been proven that while under the effects of natural adrenaline, an adult person can indeed lift one end of a vehicle weighing as much as two metric tons. Granted lifting that much weight basically shreds the muscle and can cause the bones inside the arms to break.

In the D6 Star Wars RPG I saw an unofficial source put Gen Dai just slightly under Wookies for strength. There's something to be said for having a skeletal structure I guess. Honestly I'm glad Dave Filoni didn't try to shoe horn Dirge into the Clone Wars. I prefer to remember him as the relentless monster he was in the comic books and Tartakovskys clones wars.
Fantastic list, as always. I would add Yuuzhan Vong and Whipids, personally. Yuuzhan Vong were physiologically similar to a larger sized human being, but even before receiving biological modifications to their bodies they were strong enough to grapple with a Wookie and win. According to one of the books I still have, their average lifespan is shorter than a Human's (about 80 years maximum) due to their extremely harsh cultural lifestyle.
Whipids are gigantic hunter-gatherers who hail from their frozen home world of Toola. Like Wookies and Hutts, their ancestors had to contend with more vicious predators in order to survive, and their average natural lifespan is comparable to a Wookie's.
The Yuuzhan Vong are a textbook example of a species where atheism = progress, whereas religion, culture and tradition = stagnation. "Aren't most of them very religious?", some may ask. My point exactly. Were it not for their practices, their species would be millennia ahead of where it is. Their culture is an anchor that pulls them back, and individuals like Nom Anor prove it.
Considering the size and physical power of Wookies and some other aliens, their metabolism is also far above any Earth creature in efficiency alone.

Ewoks were also surprisingly strong for their size. Despite being only 2-3 feet tall, they were more than capable of beating StormTroopers to death with clubs. Ewoks were sometimes called mini Wookiees as a result.

It's possible she unknowingly popped a blood vessel in the neck going to the brain, and Jabba internally bled to death before his regeneration could close the vessel.
I might have mentioned the Feeorin, a species that lives for centuries and just gets stronger the older they get.

If the Gen'dai existed in canon, will this help the Separatists won the war? I mean, if Durge didn't die in the middle of the war, of course. Also, is it possible for Neti and humans to produced offsprings together? Mammals and plants. Kids must look weird for sure.
The Durge has been canonized in Doctor Aphra's comics, it is mentioned that he has not been seen in the galaxy for Eons, perhaps for centuries or thousands of years so it is likely that he is still a Gen'Dai.
The Gen'dai as a species are actually really peaceful with exception of Durge and a few others. When they continually regenerate, it drives them insane, so that's why they are peaceful. If any few left decided to join the separatists the republic would be in some trouble, but they'd eventually find a way to kill them if it wasn't too late in the war

@@decimation9780 oh I know but I doubt the Gen'dai would be oblivious to the strategy. It's also extremely looked down upon by bystanders and citizens of said planet. So if it did happen, if the planet wasn't a separatist already, after the bombardment they'd most definitely be, maybe even neighbors too. They'd have to make a special weapon to contain or attack the nerves, like a mini Halo, though that'd also be risky for clones too
