I agree the colour of the sax is not appealing . However the playing is first class. This rendition is most wonderful.I like this a lot . Well accomplished. Thank you.
wow great playing. I have to disagree with the negative comments about the chinese saxes. I bought a Mendini tenor, liked it so much I bought an alto, like it so much that next month I'm ordering a soprano. I've had nothing but good experiences with them.

Joe Baker it is so hard to get the lowest c and below on the mendini saxes and I can't reach the altissimo range with it, and you should change your mouthpiece
maybe you got a bad one, mine are very responsive from low Bb to high F I have several mouthpieces, but my best one is a vintage Sigurd Rasher, beautiful tone, easy blowing,

+Robert Kakur i use fl studio or cubase to record any of my instruments..then just add effects to make it sound better..make sure you have a decent mic that can block out background noise.
About time to stop knocking, and lumping, the Chinese made instruments in general and start looking at individual manufacturers. It's like saying Japanese cars are not as good as American or German cars. Critics are 20 years behind.
