Does anyone know the cost for upgrading seats?

Unfortunately EF does not handle upgrading seats. You’d have to do that directly with the airline once you get your flights, if you have EF book them.

How many layovers did your flight have? Would u book flights with them again or by yourself?

@AllTheInfoWithAKA For the three trips I’ve taken, I’ve always had two layovers to get there and to get back I’ve had either two or three. So far I haven’t had any issues with missing flights ***knock on wood*** because the layovers usually have enough time. I usually have them book the flights so I don’t have to think about it or arranging transportation to the hotel.
If you book your own flights, you are responsible for the airport transfer- however I know friends who have booked their own flights and just messaged the tour director and had them help coordinate it so it hasn’t been a problem!
This summer I’m going to Croatia with EF but I’m doing some other travel ahead of time so I’m booking my flights for the first time on an EF trip! It all depends on what you’re comfortable with.

@atravelingpaige_ I've heard horror stories from some so nervous haha. Some people said they had 3 or 4 layovers with 3-4 hours in between each. So I'm like oh Lord. Please no

@AllTheInfoWithAKA oh I’ve heard those too lol. I think it really depends on how much control you want to have vs what you want to give up!
A lot of people who have a million layovers also live in cities without major airports so they have to fly to airports who can take them global. I live in North Carolina so I generally fly to Atlanta, one of the busiest airports in the world, and then directly to wherever I’m going. People who live farther from major airports have to travel farther to get to the cities that fly out across the world!
