@@TimTime10 but the ones that started because of it that just feel bland and more of a copy aren't, most of them are just weird restrictions that mean little, being something like just chill plants, the nut one does change how the game is played because defensive plants work differently than attacking plants

If the challenge is that you can only use one lane, then by technicality, you can alternate between lanes if you dig up each plant from said lane.
Yes, you can only use one lane. Not two lanes at different times, only one lane.

Idea: PvZ, but with random plants.
Before each level, spin a wheel with all the plants you have unlocked.
You must beat the level with those plants.
You are only allowed to reroll if you get an impossible mix of plants (such as no attackers) or after 10 failed attempts on the level (optional to make it easier).
Skip all levels that don't allow choosing plants.
At the beginning of the game, you must add all gemiums to the wheel (to make it more interesting).

I can answer the infinite lawnmower dilemma. They are just time travelling lawn mowers in an infinite loop, if Dave can make a time travelling RV he can definitely make a time travelling lawn mower ;3

Even though homing thistle isnt that good, its still my favorite at heart because it was my first gemium that i got. I love its design and animation style (that looks much better than all teh new seediums that are being created) and i love its sound effects. Its just really cute. I was so happy to see it have the spotlight in a video.

Enforce-Mint was the first mint family i liked a lot (before a certain controversial plant in the Ail-Mint family) and Kiwi Beast I like because it's a decent hybrid of Phat Beet and Walnut

You should have allowed seedium plants as there are only 2 or 3 seedium plants that can hit all five lanes at once. Sling Pea would have straight-up saved a lot of time.

If I faced the dilemma with the lightning reed on wrong lane Minecart I would use a chili bean
For the sun producing levels just play Normaly and save 1 zombie at the end of the level, make him eat tons of wall nuts until you have produced all the sun and them kill him
next plants vs zombies challenge: i beat plants vs zombies without using any plants
Do you use only 1 Kiwi-beast to make it fair?
Now do a challenge where u can only use the strongest plants you get from the worlds
