On a tip from the guys @flyfishfood and after fixing up our boat trailer we needed to try some still-water. So we thought we'd try and duplicate throwing some big top water bugs for Cutthroat and it didn't disappoint. From the time we got there to when we had to leave the action was pretty fast. It turned out to be one of the most unique and best trips to the Berry that we've had. Hopefully this same pattern can last a lot longer because it was a blast! Take your fly rods, floating line and some big bugs and go try and locate some for yourself and have a fantastic time. Again, even though they probably won't see this thanks again to the guys at flyfish food!
Solid work boys!
Thanks for your help!
Nice trip!I guess I need to bring the fly rod on my next trip!
Proud to be one of the ten people who watch your videos! Another awesome day on the water. It's always a good time flicking big flies to big fish. Good times. Hope everyone is doing well. Keep up the good work boys.
You have always been there! Glad you have enjoyed so many and thanks for your support!
Fun when they are biting on top. 3 in the net!
awesome catches man!!
Drive an hour more and go hit up starvation to catch some monster perch and walleye! Last year they stocked like 4, 9 1/2lbs walleye!
That is a salmon fly or Cicada pattern, Chernobyl. Cool to see them coming up to big attractors. I may need to get out there soon. Can probably get some from shore!
Yes, ended up hitting Chernobyl’s, Hoppers and Cicadas! It was great
Dungee Fishing Thanks for the cool video. #subscribed
Grape jelly right now. It's 106 degrees here in St. George and the trout are all lethargic.
Nate Barker Yeah I’m wondering if these cold fronts have kept them up higher so far. We’ll see this weekend if they’re still in the higher water column.
Were you able to launch at Renegade? When we went up Tuesday there was a sign before the main Marina turn off that said 14 miles to Renegade and the road would be closed in 12 miles.
We just launched at Strawberry but we did see cars driving around renegade and it seemed like boats were launching there as well.
