Great interview Frankie! Don’t forget about beavers. Beavers need to be restored as well.

I agree that We should support the issue of the Miss Young Women.
But I don't think that that removal of the Dams was the right move. It's killed everything in the Klamath River. And has poison the River for decades.

@@KennyWatson-mu9toGive it time darling. Literally the dams killed everything/ were killing everything. Have you actually seen their newsletter and their goal to naturalize the area? They even cover it on their Instagram. This will be hard. What’s done is done. All we can do is help the area become natural once again. The pain is Temporary my love. Think of the dams like a bandaid. Mother Nature will heal. Especially with our help.

@@KennyWatson-mu9tothe dams were doing nothing but destroying salmon populations. Which btw are a key to the ecosystem. Without them we’d have nothing here. What matters is making sure they repopulate. The dams were inhibitors to their lifecycle.

I am thrilled with the removal of the dams, but that is only a part of restoring the health of the river. The river tributaries must be protected as well, and beavers must be allowed to create wetlands that will provide shelter and habitat for fish and wildlife and cool, clean water to the river in the hot, dry days of summer. It will require a grand effort from many people and communities to make the river whole again. I wish the tribes tremendous success, and I strongly support their efforts.

It's a temporary condition. It'll be fine. The disaster was when they built those dams.

It took years to get to these low records. It will take at least a few before there is similar growth. It’s happening love. Keep that positive position.
