You honestly remind me that I am worth it. I'm worth the investment, the extra-ness of life, the extra spray or two of perfume, the ease, the best, the nice, the convenience, the calm, everything. I grew up having to grin and bear A LOT and have developed the ability to be comfortable with uncomfortable (in a bad way). I have to constantly remind myself that I deserve better and more and that I do not have to struggle. You are an inspiration.
After I worked at the morgue years ago, I stopped wearing shoes in the house. And have a sign for others, including maintenance men to take theirs off. I had two that did so every time and one that never did.
Wow, see! And all of my life I never thought about it because it wasn’t something that anyone around me. When it comes to suitcases, I cannot imagine not spraying them down. Then I mop the entryway floor.
