- Welcome to my latest adventure in Marauders, where I start from scratch like a new player / beginner and see how far I can get! In this fresh start challenge, we’re diving into the deep end with nothing but a lowly sack bag and (hopefully) a sense of humour. It doesn’t go too badly, tbh.

Future reference; the gold candelabra is definitely more valuable than that level 10 helmet. You can craft that helmet. The candelabra you can get a 12 rig and 12 helmet from a market trade with!

@@BugsMX Absolutely they do! I’ve dropped 12 armor for a 9 rig so I could have more pockets before haha.

@@BugsMX Kind of. I will definitely push nearby shots if it seems like a manageable fight. I bring in a lot more meds though. 😅

Most of the time when I go into a raid I usually get spawn camped at the airlock so instead I go get salvage or to the mining frigate or merchant ship is there a way to not have that happen or at least have some kind of other method of dealing with campers instead of dying off the bat
I tend to head into the POIs very quickly or hang around and see who’s going where. For some reason it’s pretty rare that someone’s at my airlock - and while we call it spawn camping it’s just that lucky or unlucky chance that someone is nearby. If you ARE near when someone comes in… do you really want to let them kill you later?
@@BugsMXyea probably because I appear in mostly late games when people are leaving and I am entering coincidentally but so far going alr my brother in law got me into the game around 2-3 weeks ago and starting to have some fun really fun game and addicting too

24:28 Ooooh I wouldn’t ever trade the 10/3 for an 11/0. That 3 blast protection can save you from a lot.
It’s a good point, and it’s only recently I’ve discovered the life saving potential of the blast protection.
@@BugsMX It’s crazy! Even just 1 blast protection will save you from a red barrel explosion. ☺️

Is it worth buying marauders right now I'm worried it's dead and i cant fight other players
Always people on EU and NA East servers (the two that I play on). It's not a game like COD Warzone that needs a lot of players. But more will arrive when the update drops.

Yep. Because (assuming it’s the part I remember) one of the contracts is to collect 3 Hard Hats - and that’s a pain to do.

I didn’t play this game for a bout 2-3 months. Played one game and there was 3 fully kitted losers camping the spawn. Stopped playing immediately
Shame that happened on the first game back. Give it another go!

@@IfonlyIwassmaller yeah I know but, I remember so vividly my early days, completely without a clue… leaving an airlock and getting killed… many times
@@BugsMX Oh yeah, there are definitely people that will prioritize running straight to another airlock to camp it after they get into the POI.
I always have a problem of remebering how to get back to my gate 😅 my navigation skills are lacking
It’s a significant challenge until you learn the maps… which takes quite a long time. At some point you figure out where the escape pods are and then don’t worry about where you left your ship. Keep going!
