Along with that, freelancing plays a very crucial role in our country's economy which is suffering a lot right now.
This is a huge problem and to solve this national problem our government has to take some immediate steps so that there is no more injustice to many skilled and entitled freelancers.

These pseudo tech experts are literally preying on struggling families in the name of motivation and inspiration. They convince people to sign up for something that ultimately proves useless in the long run. They tell half-truths just to sell their courses and enrich themselves. They conveniently omit the other 90% of skills, expertise, and resources needed for real success after taking these courses. Challenge these supposedly intellectual individuals to prove the success rate of their students, and you'll see the truth

Sorry but this is a very bad idea. Asking our government to "certify" freelancers is beyond rudiculous, unless you want to kill freelancing all together.
Also I think you forgot what freelancing means and think the client are fools who would give huge projects to freelancers who have no skills.
Also: Isn't it too late? Should have made sence years ago but you guys were selling "anyone can become a freelancer in 24 hours" training knowing full well that was not possible but a good way to pocket money...

The government wouldn't take any step unless they decide to tax foreign remittance. They will only take steps not for the nation, but for themselves.
However, your stance is very good. On an individual level we should pledge to do quality work and not be cheap + scammers. Moreover, I will also highlight that in our initial freelance career we setup pow prices just to get client, making us an already target of price blackmailing.
Instead, we should prepare well then enter freelance field. Moreover, your skill should be relevant to your education. You also need technical knowledge. So yes degree is important.

I will not agree with suggestions of the portal for approval of freelancing mentors. Firstly, the government around the world have tested for decades and laissez-faire model is most suitable model. In this model, govt doesn't intervene in any market.
The said proposition is not viable given rampant corruption in ministries and mentors will be approved by personal links instead of merit. Moreover, the idea is flawed because there is not necessarily a lack of mentors. The rise of online teaching platforms has made learning accessible to everyone. It's the responsibility of freelancer to make accounts when they're knowledgeable.
With that said, this problem can only be solved on the part of Upwork. They can introduce certifications instead of penalizing the whole country. Any other plan other than part of Upwork is doomed to fail

Sir, i totally disagree with your video because as i live in Spain . I learned Web development in Spain and during study teachers say students for freelancing and in Spain and Europe there are no such strict rules then why you are demanding such strict rules from Pakistan Government . I think you should not make such Video. If you think you are very intelligent then it is your thought.
