Oh man. I wrote this story years ago, and had no idea people were still reading it. You've got a godly voice, and this is exactly how I imagined Matthew's Grandfather speaking, when I first put pen to paper! Thank you so very much for your wonderful interpretation of the tale. Steven Shorter (MrAstroBleme on the CreepyPasta wiki)
This was the first creepy pasta that really freaked me out nice job. Oh and BTW what was behind the door or is that the creepy part we make up whatever we think it is?
calebsone1 it’s a tortured soul from hell. Or a demon. Peter was obsessed and thought it was godly. All I know is it’s scary as shit. This was a great fuckin story. If you think about it most stories don’t have this kind of power. Like imagine actually seeing God like wtf I would blow up, but instead there’s a demon bitch and you get scared as fuck ugh. It’s so cool and dark wow damn.
Your voice is amazing and manly. You know how to manipulate it and you sound amazingly fitting for any story you narrate. It's like you are the character.
Gripping and I was almost tearful at the end. This must be what a previous generation of radio-only-no-tv- felt-sitting around a radio as a dramatic story was told with effects. Wonderful.
The opening reminds me of HMS Nightshade, a cracking war comic reprinted in the book called Garth Ennis Presents War Stories (which I held fire on for years thinking it was stories Garth Ennis had written, but it isn't).
Fantastic narration. This made me think of my grandfather and the stories he would tell us on the back porch while we would watch the horses run in the neighbors fields. I miss you poppy you always made me smile I hope u and uncle Cantrell are telling jokes and drinking bud on the porch save a cold one for me I'll c u someday. Dad and I miss u so much. Sorry ya'll had to get that out.
This was a very good story, and you did a great job telling it. I'm going to ask for help from anyone that sees this comment. I'm trying to find a creepypasta I read or listened to once. I don't know what it was called and I cant remember if someone did a video about it. But if anyone knows the story I'm about to talk about, it would be great if you could shoot me a link or the title. So basically it has the same frame that this story has. A quiet veteran is telling someone his frietening war story. He might have been telling his grandson or maybe his wife or both. He got captured or something and ended up in a cellar. The cellar had some other people in it. At first it seemed like a regular cellar. But it had beings in it. "the things that are there in the dark" And they would kill or drain the people's fear. He gets away somehow in the end. The veteran dies and the narrator implies that the "things that are there in the dark" killed him.
What if this is the guy in the creepypasta with the giant spider thing. This reminds me of that story. Mythical&mysterious/"holy items, demigod-ish creatures, military in like Afghanistan(I think? ) can't remember the name of it, which sucks because i want to listen to it again while doing my stroke rehab exercises
Are you okay? I'm missing your fun. Noticed you been slow. In posting amazing stories. Remember to leave my phone on the bedroom table when you leave. LOL
To explain myself a little better, the words chosen to tell the storie makes you feel unattached to it, or seem far fetched, which is exactly what you want to avoid telling horror stories
Fyi, gun calibers are said with out the "point" that you used. That gun would have been called a "forty-five". Likewise, a .38 caliber gun would not be "point thirty eight", it would be called "a thirty eight". Metric, like a 9mm gun is called a "nine millimeter" or "9 mil".
My family is from Germany and I have many stories I could tell... My grandparents help hide there friends & neighbors that were Jewish.. lots of other events. Since both sides of my family our from there and that time. My father died in 2000 but was born in 1927.. he told me and my mother a lot of stories..since he was about 17 in 1940.. he was NOT a bad person..they were just citizens stuck in this horrible war.. I have no idea how to send you them? How do I get a hold of u or send a message?? Thanks! You would be perfect to tell these true stories.🌹🖤😈🖤
Christel Champagne my grandfather was born in 1926 and was rejected from enlisting because he was the last person in his family line.Although he had a half-brother this half-brother was crazy and his parents were old so he never got to serve
Darth Musturd the best way to learn is to throw yourself into it. It's easier to learn once you stop trying and just listen. I have family still in Germany, I learned quickly just from listening to my grandparents.
You're such a great narrator Nature! I'm hooked on all your videos now. The stories alone are enough to keep an individual intrigued, but your change in tone of voice along with your voice being so broad in every emotion that parallels the emotion of the story, makes the imagery and overall experience immensely satisfying! Morgan Freeman better watch his back with you on the scene buddy 😂😂 Great fucking work! #Subscribed
As soon as the grandad pulls an antique pistol, the kids response is "Oh my god can you have that??". So British , 😂 it's a pistol for christs sake not a MG42
Probably my favorite creepypasta narration of all time. You killed it on this one!

NaturesTemper Merry Christmas Scott!
And to all a good night. 😴😊🌨
Ich werde dich wiedersehen....
I will see you again....
I think thats what he said
Adam Ramizovic that’s also the opening line to a song by rammstein called “Ohne Dich”
But the best song is "gibs mir doggy" you have to watch it
@@markegipto1462 wow my friend was right, only non-germans and edgy teens seem to love Rammstein. I guess it's the language barrier.
Means, I'll be seeing you.
Yup that's precisely what it says.

Dude even on Christmas you’re uploading. Thanks 👌👌
I love these Creepy Pasta War Stories.
Lovely reading. I heard a hint of Sean Connery in Grandfather's voice.
Lol, I did too.
GREAT story and GREAT delivery!! New sub and I'm now on a binging run. You're really talented mate!
If you liked this story, check out the movie The Devil's Rock.
Thanks!! I love the war stories. Both regular & paranormal types!
_ Grey*Bones Warpastas are one of my favorite types of creepypasta.
".... but I believe differently".
CHILLS when I read that😧!! Absolutely AMAZING Story✍️ AND Narration🗣️..well done!👍
Thank you for sharing this one! Courage of the heart is very rare and should be honored!
Somehow i don't think the thing on the other side of the door was much of threat if it could be harmed by a knife.
What makes you think there is just one in there?
u can stop a bomb by cutting the right wire doesn't mean still can't kill you
You can remove the magazine of a handgun but it'll still be dangerous and there is the danger of there being more than one.
Tony Peppermint or there is a bullet in the chamber.
I agree. Despite what others in the replies say. After all if you can cut it with a knife you can blow its arms off with gun fire.
Gripping and I was almost tearful at the end. This must be what a previous generation of radio-only-no-tv- felt-sitting around a radio as a dramatic story was told with effects. Wonderful.
I wonder about that too. Almost more interesting in a way listening on the radio.

Imagine if the grandfather didn't try and close the door and whatever was in there came out
Glorious read. Some CRAZY plot could come from this for a more EXPANSIVE plot. Other ppls run-ins and even dimension hoping. DOPE
Happy Holidays to you Natures Temper. Superb story, thanks! 💯👌🏽
Loved this story and always love hearing your voice. Merry Christmas!
Grandpa gave him The Finger.
Merry Christmas, Nature!
Im surprised the grandfather didn’t say “BOY” with that voice
The opening reminds me of HMS Nightshade, a cracking war comic reprinted in the book called Garth Ennis Presents War Stories (which I held fire on for years thinking it was stories Garth Ennis had written, but it isn't).

possibly the best creepypasta ive ever heard
14:49 around there he says “I will see you again.” In German (WOOOO NO TRANSLATION FOR MY AMERICAN BUTT!)
Haha my german comes in handy!
I LOVE yr war stories & army tales from the far east. They are my absolute favourites!
A friend of a friend, of a friend, told me you stole your voice from the gods!🤔
It has the movie Prince of Darkness vibe to me.

Lol. What's considered a crime in England is a Right here.
merry christmas you crazy narrator

one of the best creepypastas i've heard...

Amazing story! ✌
Have you made any of your own stories, if so could we listen to them
Wow. That story was pretty intense
Another amazing story thank you for narrating

At 14:38 where he speaks Dutch he says I leave vitaya. No idea wtf that means
0:54 woah, nice Kratos voice.
Great reading! Thanks!
i am sure Nature could read any story and make it sound good for instance the ball roled away.
Am I the only one that got Hellboy vibes from this?
same
I did too
Yeah same here too, seems totally ripped off.
So glad I'm not the only person to get on that one !
Mr. Narrator, can you read us the night before Christmas story.
I know this language... The ancient language. One of them...
Yoko Littner one known to many once... Ke ta.
It's not believable enough to be scary, monster, kids with eyes rolled back, the black sky, rain going up. Just a bit too much.
Granpa kinda sounds like Sean Connery here. I can see him in that role :p Great job!
The Words "but like" should be "as if" I think. But this is not my story.

Christel Champagne
There were a number of good people on all fronts during World War Two.
marty horrell they can reject you for being the last in your family line ? That ain't true
hugh mungus Probably an excuse from a coward.
Haha, I'm amazed that even the brits internals knew the US was better equipped
This story is missing something...................... sIGS MORE sIGS
Story lacked consistency. You had to walk through a thin corridor but "paratroopers" bust down a door and barge in.
Then why don't you write something better critic-nazi!
That was an amazing story and you tell it so well. I wonder..... is there any truth to it?
what did peter say in German? before he shot him arounf 14:40
Preston Moore "I will see you again" I think
I was 15 seconds into the video and boom ad break. Wow.
is that onaga from mk as a black silhouette? lol in the background
