@@somebody700 Hey sombody700, I know they are Christians, but it in no way did they stop being Jewish since they would admit it like Paul/Saul.
It definitely is true that some Jews completely reject Jesus and say evil things. Though it is important to recognize the reasons Jews as well at times don’t believe in Jesus is because of Christians. I mean look at history and things the early church fathers would say like Justin Martyr, Second Council of Nicea, Ignatius would say about Jews. There are many different kinds of Judaism. Some Biblical, some not. For example, Messianic Judaism is in fact a combination of Judaism and Christianity. So, it in no way denies Jesus. Also, if we are looking at Biblical Judaism (The Bible) then it in no way denies Jesus since it spoke of Jesus. What does it mean to be a Jew? I mean Paul in no way ever mentioned or Jesus that they stopped being Jewish. Even though being a Christian is what at the end of the day matters. The first Christians didn’t stop with their Jewish Identity. According to David Rudolph, New Testament scholars James (Jacobs) “ “this community, headed by Yaakov (James), was (1 ) primarily composed of Jesus-believing Jews who (2) remained within the bounds of Second Temple Judaism, and (3) strictly lived according to the Torah (Acts 15:4-5; 21:20-21)”(Rudolph 355)”. Even the Apostle Paul would encourage the Jesus-believing Jews to keep following torah. According to David Rudolph "Philip Alexander would mention about Jews who believed in Jesus during the Tannaitic period "They probably observed as much of the Torah as did other Jews (though they would doubtless have rejected, as many others did, the distinctively rabbinic interpretations of the misvot). They studied Torah and developed their own interpretations of it, and, following the practice of the Apostles, they continued to perform a ministry of healing in the name of Jesus”. .Even now there are Jews who believe in Jesus. Yes they are Christians, but it in no way denied them access to stop being Jewish. According to the book of Romans, there are Jews and Gentiles in Christ. Though being a true Jew is about being one inwardly according to Romans 2:28-29. Biblically speaking, torah observant Jews and actual Christians worship the same God. Though many Jews have yet to believe in Christ.

I guess you mean that hatred of idolatry equals hatred of your false messiah. Greco-Roman idolaters believe they can be "grafted in" with their pagan heresies. They hate Judaism because Israel knows how misguided you are. May the G-D of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob be praised forever. HE is the savior, and there is NONE other besides HIM.
It might be a miracle that Jews still exist as a people surviving through 2000 years of Christian hatred and oppression. But it is the Hand of the Almighty at work. I hope people will reflect and repent.

*WHEN was Israel EVER a pure, homogeneous group??? Answer: NEVER!!! God provided the label 'Israel' for a man who proved his faith. Then God gave that label to a MIXED multitude of people who proved their faith in Him in the wilderness. Those people were descended from the 74 Abrahamites who went into Egypt and came out with a huge family that had intermarried in addition to other peoples from Egypt. Throughout Torah God encourages foreigners to be INTEGRATED into Israel as full citizens in ever way if they were faithful to Him. Even the Covenant promise was made to Abraham, his blood sons AND foreign-born slaves. So...there was NEVER a time that Israel or Jews were an ethnically pure, homogeneous race.*

Jews must decide on whether the idea of Messianism is itself a valid concept, or just some hair brained idea. Once the Jew accepts the idea that Messianism is an idea come from God he must then go a step further and determine if the expected Messiah can be identified. This is where the Talmud leads the Jew astray. Its Messiah is not like the one found in the Old Testament described aptly in Isaiah 53 and this hymn--

The "heads of wheat" story always bothered me as false because Jesus and his followers KNEW when Shabbat was coming, and were supposed to prepare ahead of time -- including heads of wheat. The commandment is to REMEMBER Shabbat -- and KEEP it "holy." It was the one thing in Creation that was made holy.
The Pharisees understood the written Torah and the Oral Torah. The Saducees did not fully agree with all that was "in" the Oral Torah. But, Jesus told his followers to keep to the instructions of the Pharisees. It was they who sit in the seat of Moses. Matthew 23:2. The "Talmud" came quite a bit later in history.

And since it's the Resurrection season, I would like to emphasize one point that jews have influenced Christians, and that is in our annual depiction of the crucifixion of Jesus. We see Jesus portrayed as riding into Jerusalem on a donkey and palm leaves being laid down before Him. We see Him unjustly tried. We see Pilate before the crowd of jewish people asking what they wanted him to do with Jesus, and them responding, "Crucify Him!" We see the roman soldiers wiping Him, mocking Him, crowning Him with a crown of thorns, crucifying Him, and casting lots for His tunic. But we never hear -- although we should! -- the jews complete response to Pilate when he declared Jesus innocent and not worthy of death, "His blood shall be on us and on our children!" I was really excited for this video; but I'm am sooo disappointed. Anyone who regards their religion as the ONLY belief, is a fool! Because every thing another religion does can be misconstrued as against another! That is not correct! I love Jesus! I LOVE God! But by His word I will never hate or hold myself higher! No. There's a lot of beautiful conversation happening here but saying 1 religion is wrong is being egotistical...which is against God!

*WHEN was Israel EVER an ethnically-pure, homogeneous group??? Answer: NEVER!!! God provided the label 'Israel' for a man who proved his faith. Then God expanded that label to a MIXED multitude of people who proved their faith in Him in the wilderness. Those people were descended from the 74 Abrahamites who went into Egypt and came out with a huge family that had intermarried with other peoples from Egypt, and also joined by more foreigners from Egypt. Then more foreigners like Rahab joined Israel. In fact, throughout Torah, God encourages foreigners to be INTEGRATED into Israel as full citizens in every way on condition they were faithful to Him. Even the Covenant promise (GENESIS 17) was made to Abraham, his blood sons AND foreign-born slaves. So...there was NEVER EVER a time that Israel or Jews were an ethnically pure, homogeneous race.*

Actually, you forgot to mention 2 other differences.
1= God can not break his own commandments, he broke the Lust-rape-covet law when he raped mary while she was twelve and actually bought fairly by Joseph and they were wed, so god committed adultery.
2= God can not break his own commandment by having a son because it created another god which as we know from past and present that jesus has been put on higher pedestal as god, so that means god created another god and has a god before him.

Since inheritance imply identity it is jewish

Jesus lived in a jewish contry.
The philosopher Friedrich Nieztsche understood that well.

@@solideomusical I don't know exactly what your friend had in mind when he told you that. But he is most likely referring to Exodus 21:22, which describes a scenario where men who are fighting accidentally strike a pregnant woman (most likely a wife trying to break up the fight), causing her to give birth prematurely. The passage says that if no serious harm is done, then the punishment is limited to a fine for damages. However, if harm does befall woman or child (such as a miscarriage), then the one who killed the child shall pay with his life. Point being, your friend is wrong. The OT punishment for killing an unborn child is the same as the punishment for killing an adult.

It's a fact that both the Neo-Jewish sects and Christianity are sharing a common root-tradition/origin in Temple-Judaism, but after all, they're coming from two different branches of Temple-Judaism, and ultimately have developed into two separate religions, which have as many similarities as they have fundamental diffriences, so the term "Judeo-Christian" is at least useless.

You are comparing apples to oranges. We hold the NT to be God-breathed scripture on the same level as the OT. I have never even heard of a single Jew who would claim that the commentary in the Talmud is of the same character as the Torah. Most Jews hold the Talmud to be a useful collection of commentaries from well-respected teachers, so a more apt comparison would be that of commentaries from Calvin, Luther, and Agustine for your audience.
Also of note is your claim they "got it entirely wrong." That is an incredible claim! A broken clock is right twice a day. No one here is denying that they failed to recognize their own Messiah by and large, but they knew to expect one. The Pharisees recognized the promise of resurection within the Tenakh, though they misidentified the "way" that promise would be fulfilled. Jesus even used them as an example of righteousness, abiet insufficient to meet God's perfect standard and thereby enter the Kingdom. There are terrible things said in the Talmud, but Luther himself wrote terrible things in, "On the Jews and Their Lies," but no one should on that basis argue of his written corpus, "he 'got it entirely wrong.'" Strive for truth and show the generosity you would like shown to your own words.

Jesus (yeshua) the messiah was born a Jew of Juda. He came for all of us. His disciples including Mary were all Jewish as well and believed he was the messiah. Jewish Christian’s can exist. Jesus himself was a Jew. To say that Jews can’t be Christian is false. That’s like saying Jesus didn’t come for Africa. You can’t be a Christian if you are African or Egyptian. He wanted his people to know him for who he was and is and who he has yet to become. Instead the Pharisees were jealous and didn’t like that he told them they were wrong. He came to change it all. You would no longer have to make sacrifices for repentance. Love they neighbor and they Enemy. Me merciful, peaceful, and humble your hearts and your selves. Jews can be Christian’s. We all should be. But somewhere in time all of our ancestors got lost along the way. We would all be Jews. Are we not all from Adam and Eve?

You have both a misunderstanding of Judiasm and a religious center for antisemitism. Very dangerous. The Talmud is not only interpretation but also the writing of what Jews consider the Oral law, the written law being the 5 Books of Moses. Please don't use the word "Right" on the name of this website. It's offensive especially to those who view His Love as a principal message of the Christian Bible.

There are DOZENS of prophesies about the Messianic age -- and what the Messiah is to accomplish. Jesus fulfilled NONE of them.
Jews call the OT the "Tanakh." The Torah is only the five books dictated to Moses by the Creator -- from Genesis to Deuteronomy. The Tanakh also consists the Prophets and the "Writings" (Psalms, Proverbs, etc.)
The Torah is the "tree of life" that was in the Garden. (Solomon) David, in Psalms, called it "Perfect." A huge problem is that Christians can't read Hebrew.
‘Surely My Sabbaths you shall keep, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am the LORD who sanctifies you’” (Exodus 31:13) The Sabbaths are also a sign that the world may know who the LORD is and who HIS Chosen people are. Forty years in the wilderness and the miracle of manna falling for six days helped to implant exactly when the Sabbath is.
Any Jew within earshot of a man claiming to be "lord of the Sabbath" would have left skid marks as they ran away. Let the Greco-Roman idolaters and pagans buy that stuff.

Do you realize that "christ" is just the greek word for "messiah"? Jews believe in the christ, the messiah, and are waiting until they come. 🤷‍♂️ christ isnt like Jesus's last name, like he's son of joseph and mary christ, christ is a claim to being the promised anointed one that will signal that the end time have come. Jesus simply didnt fulfill the jewish messianic prophecies. Thats all. So he was a false messiah. Doesnt mean he was a bad person.
