My best accessory investment has been a geared head (Benro GD3WH) for my tripod. It's not improved my images but it's certainly improved my enjoyment of landscape photography.
Hey John, thanks for the feedback. I think they are only Arca Swiss. I made the switch to AS many years ago and havent looked at any other type of mount. I was using a manfrotto prior, and they had their own system, maybe they make an L bracket?
A heap of micro-fibre cloths , especially around the ocean....essential , also a good torch/headtorch for when it gets dark , cheers

Great stuff Ben, Many thanks. My favorite 'money saver' is spending hundreds on a lens and then putting a 10 euro UV filter on the front.
Great tip! I have never really used UV filters, have one on my macro lens but it doesn't have a front element.
Great tips and all great accessories. My thing I can't do without is spiked boots for rock platforms in Seascapes.

@@On3legs Hi Ben. You can purchase an insert that basically converts the Manfrotto system to Arca Swiss. Works seamlessly as I use an L-plate.
