I've Always been convinced that Gary loved his performance but had a message to give because he knew Something was going on, becaus he Always showed a lot of admiration.
Gary was right you know, James has admitted it in his book 'back to the boy' I believe, after this comment James did it his own way. So in a way we must be glad Gary made that comment, it was constructive critisisme afterall.
I thought he did a good job with a poor song choice and I think that's what Gary was implying too. Luckily the songs improved as the weeks went on.....looking forward to the reaction videos for these. Thanks PW 💖👍
This was the ONLY time he got a "negative" comment throughout the whole series. But as far as I'm concerned, Gary was WRONG with what he said..... the edges were not being rounded off!!! He was completely original - no wonder the crowd booed at Gary. PS I never liked this song either - until James did it :) Still not that keen

I thought this performance was really good actually, he completely made it his own and I liked how he got the chance to rap as well
