Jesus give me strength. As a single mom and it is hard to have everything on my shoulders. Especially because both of my sons are special needs but despite the challenges I face. I keep faith in Jesus even as I struggle to pay rent and as I struggle to buy groceries for my children. Faith over fear. I love you Lord. I have faith you will provide.
Dear lord, for a long time you have been wanting me to “let go” of a person that is no longer in my life.
I have constantly allowed myself to be trapped in the past and hindering myself from healing and moving forward.
You have blessed me with a full time job, going to school, a wonderful church.
You have been showing me that, that person is not for me.
I pray for the strength to let go…no matter how many times I have to repeat it, I will.
In psalms 4:4 “be angry, but do not sin.” Yes lord, I am angry.
Angry with myself for allowing that person to take up my thoughts daily causing nothing but distress on my being…
Today I finally opened my eyes and realized that is what you have been wanting me to do ALL along.
So in writing this Lord, I pray for the strength to let go of that person, no matter how hard or painful it feels to do so.
I trust you with my life lord…in Jesus name. Amen.
