My experience in one word, "Divine". You visit my channel and view the whole playlist on Kailash Parikrama, to get an idea of what to expect.

Long story short; the mountain is a cultural landmark and a religious symbol and in addition to that its also extremely dangerous to climb. A public ban is actually very normal under those conditions. You arent allowed to climb atop anything thats considered a monument or religious symbol.

The Only reason why this mountain is unclimbed is becoz china restricted this mountain from climbing long back ....people climbed mt annapurna's South face, eiger, k2, nanga parbat in winter etc...... And people can climb this one too but first more Mountaineers should be allowed to try.........

I saw a picture of Mount Kailash and Teotihuacan's Pyramid of the Sun in Mexico side by side and it was eerily similar, Mount Kailash does look like it has a staircase going up the middle of it. I got to walk up the Pyramid of the Sun a couple years ago, what an amazing experience, I think the Hindu Austronesians came by boat and mixed in with the earlier Animist and Olmec traditions.

You forgot to mention 3 major rivers including Indus, Brahmaputra, and Satluj originate from this area.
Also although Ganga originates from Gangotri, one of its tributaries does start from very close to this area.

I believe its the largest pyramid and probably the oldest man made structure on the planet. It looks like it went through many different stages of harsh weather. Erosion comes to mind as well as massive heat or something that molted the mountain. Theres a spot near the top where there seems to be imprints of giant slabs of manmade brick as well as a passageway up to the top with steps. Truly unfathomable. Wish more was uncovered.

Mount Kailash isn't a pyramid, it is a naturally made mountain, a mountain with extreme weather conditions. And as people have been visiting it from thousands of years, they would have probably built a city or few homes to live or rest near the mountain.
Mt Kailash is considered a holy mountain to both the buddhist and Hindus hence climbing mt kailash is prohibited.

Few unknown points of Mount Kailash
1. It is not a mount, it is a source of life of entire living objects in the world
2.It is a communication station of related to universe.
