Great video!! I love that you share your knowledge, very few actually do answer to posts. I have my first project doll waiting (I have done the outer hairline, which is the front and the trickier imao because the holes are very close, no accidents yet. and I am waiting for the glue you suggested - i just ordered, should be here in a couple of days- so I can finish the reroot. I dont know what kind of hair i am using because I am using a black straight hair wig I had for a bjd doll 1/4 and I am cutting the strands from there. I think it is saran though because they feel natural, though not very soft. I am curious to see how it will look when its done. The concept here was that i had an agreement with my husband to work with what I have to see if i like it first before i give a ton of money in materials and then drop it. I like it ...A LOT.
Great!! The first reroot I did was with some hair extensios from a chinese shop (very thick and not ideal for a small Doll head 🤣) but it was great to pratice before I invested in saran or kanekalon! Let me know how it turned Out ;)
I love saran hair fiber. I wish there were more natural red colors to choose from (I can't find the perfect nutty-brownish-red color). Nylon is easier to style without heat, but at the same time it's more "stiff" than saran...
@@luislucaslopes Saran is the best. I don't like kanekalon hair (which many 80's and 90's Barbie dolls have). I also don't like so called "polypropylene hair", which (I think) Simba's Steffi dolls might have. P.S. Are you Italian? I'm from Poland. P.S. 2 - Subscribed. Please, make more videos (maybe 2 per week... at least). Best wishes!
i do have truble with yarn as fabric. i buyed many types and is not looking nice or more like its desintegrate itself on combing. i did not try once and ruin it but several times and also change yarn. wool yarn is the thing you use? i really need to understand from what yarn you can get a bush for hair
I normally use acrylic yarn and it works great! I’ll leave here a link where you have more info about yarn 😊 www.thecreativefolk.com/best-yarns-for-doll-hair/

What do you think about Halloween wig hair? It looks like it could be saran. How can I find out?

Yes, with nylon you definitely have WAY more options but I also prefer Saran. I think it’s nicer to touch and the colours are a bit more natural :)
