I got to say, back when this game first came out, the first thing that came into my mind when I first played this song was "I'll never be able to FC this!" This is always a fun song to play and the FC feels rewarding. Odd Riff 1 always gave me a lot more trouble than the whole bridge. Enjoy the video.

That wasn't a plain old FC. That was masterful. The drum fills were flawless. Even that little diddle at the end was awesome.
Oh the good old memories. It's 2014 and I still remember getting 99% every time I tried because of the stupid snare-ride-ride while double bass riff. Thanks to this game though I actually play drums, and listen to more Dream Theater every day than people can muster in a month.
And I still play rock band today

I can relate, because of this game, I managed to learn real drums like a doddle. People may call it just a game all they like (which I guess it is), but the drums on it really do reflect the skills required to play on a real kit.

Exactly. That's how I first started off drumming, moved onto real instruments, and even took the band classes my school offers, and now I can read percussion music, and it wouldn't have happened without Rock Band. :)
In my time playing rockband 2 I broke 3 drum sets and 2 professional grade kick pedals and I still couldn't beat this song like you could so thumbs up to you man
I literally would buy the replacement plan at Best Buy and found that when I was playing expert songs the kit would last two weeks. I was in the 1200’s in ranking for drums.

The thing about these games, is that playing Guitar in them wont help you with much. But getting good at the drums or even vocals will transfer over into the real instruments.
How much do you need to practice to get that amount of stamina in your leg to be able to play like this. The hardest part of the most difficult songs in Rock Band seems to have enough stamina in your leg to not get drianed out of stamina and lose the beat.

This song is why the tip of my left stick is just a triangle instead of a circle...(and that was just from FCing it on Hard, not even Expert)...memories...maybe now that it's been a few more years of experience I can try to see if I can even beat Expert...

I remember how I felt listening to "Panic Attack" when I first got my hands on a copy of "Octavarium". It was eye-wateringly aggressive, despite the terrible production. Watching you plow through this monster of a tune brings back those memories.
I tried to play this song, but I never got a chance to finished it .,...
I miss RB2. Both my guitar and drums broke :( I was able to play expert on guitar.
And the vocals have helped me a lot, Guitar Hero has really taught me how to control my pitch very well :D
actually i was playing rock band drum 1h30 per day 2 years ago. i can play drums.. it develops forearm ,legs speed and coordination ! damn coordination

This is the reason I miss RB2 and 3. The fills are what it’s all about. This was aesthetic as well as an FC. I hate the algorithm based fills they randomly pick now. It stole this kind of thing from users which is developing your own sound.
I'm glad you appreciate my fills; they're always the thing I'm the most proud of when I go back and watch these videos.
Rock Band 4 does, however, let you play classic fills. You can change it so you don't have to play the auto-generated fills. What I don't like about RB4 in that regard, though, is that it's optimal to have your drums set to no fills; you get to have less fun for a higher score.

Some parts make it seem like this was originally done in half-time then sped up.
I know that would be really hard to pull off, but there's just parts of this video where the movements don't look natural.

Panic Attack is a Rock Band 2 on-disc-only game, so if you're playing Rock Band 3, that's probably why you can't find it. :)

Odd Riff 1 helped me master my multitasking skills, once you figure out how to do two different rhythms to the same beat it becomes more easier and it's _so_ satisfying.

and this reminds me why I stick to guitar on Rock Band or Guitar Hero .. props man you FC'ed this I can't even pass it without failing .. like I can pass expert drums but this and visions are the only 2 i cant do
Good old days.. i was one of the last people on the rockband 2 online servers matchmaking as a drummer before it went offline. It was always a real treat matchmaking with someone who could keep up on guitar for the hardest songs. And a double plus when they had some of the same dlc as you.
