When you do this, the other team's propensity to blunder increases a lot. If you see the first minutes of the game, Brazil was always biting, not letting them build their game from behind. Somehow, rather than more football in their off season, I reckon the UEFA teams are likely to want an U23 sixteen team competition next time, same as the men. I am still annoyed UEFA changed the rules that meant Team GB did not qualify via England's second place in the World Cup. The extra qualifying and lack of rest has not helped the UEFA countries to win the gold, so it has backfired when you look at it the way the presenters did. Going forward UEFA are likely to want the Euros, the World Cup and the Champions League to be the big trophies, with the same clubs that already generate the money.
