With the unmistakeable bass voice of the legendary Claud Norris!
Lovely service I hadn't listened to before. I love the Purcell canticles
RIP Richard Godfrey Seal (1936-2022) with whom I had the great good fortune to sing at Salisbury from 1972 to 1977
No doubt that these are lads, not girls, eh, Salisbury! Sung with power and gusto, what a great service! And no errors in the tricky bits of the Mag either. Edit: And having listened to it again, how absolutely perfect and sublime is the start of the Nunc Gloria at 20'09". I've never heard that sung as well anywhere by any choir.
I do enjoy your postings. Thank you for them.
