From the split diopter lens to the offbeat performances, we'll discuss how Shyamalan keeps viewers on their toes with unexpected twists and meta-commentary. You used a word in this review that perfectly sums up what was going through my brain at the end of this movie - SHAMALAMADINGDONG!!!! I support your 3.0. However, I am a wee bit surprised your rating didn’t start with a 2. Even a 2.9. But, 3.0 - Yeah, I get it. I think I’d score it 2.8. This movie had potential - prior to watching it. I still stand by what I told you the other night about the good aspects of this movie: (1) JH’s return!; (2) legendary Hailey Mills. I was definitely entertained. I give your review a 5.0. :)
@kevinwells5791 So basically this one gets the pump to 3.0 for two reasons: 1) Hartnett’s fun performance and it being his most funny film. Third act goes off the rails which hurts it…but I had a decent time.
Good news…you’re not completely wrong 😜
🤣 At last!
