Ya, the Coyotes have slowed down a bit but I'll catch a few more yet I'm sure. Next year I have to open up more line in the north. I could catch a lot more Fisher. Thank you so much Brother! Sure appreciate you taking the time to watch.
Ya, the ranch is quite big. Not as big as some but bigger then a lot. So much area that I can't even access. The cattle ramble through it grazing. Thanks for watching Brother! Have a good day.
Thanks Brother. The Fisher numbers should increase for you. 30 years ago I had no Fisher and now look at the numbers. Thanks for always watching and commenting! Best wishes.
It was a good Buck Mink. It measured 24 inches from nose to base of tail. Yes I remember those days. I remember my neighbor getting over $90 for one. Those were the days. To many Mink Ranches flooding the market. Thanks so much for watching my Friend. Have a great evening!
Thanks Brother. Unfortunately I only have a week left on Mink and Fisher so my days for catching them are getting numbered but anything can happen. Maybe I can catch another Mink yet. Maybe another Fisher or 2. Have a good night Brother and thanks again!
I have a spot like you describe for fisher, thousands of acres bordering what they called "queens land" where I trap for wolves. No other trappers are allowed in there, only me and only for wolves. The place is crawling with fisher and they always slip outside the borders of that area to where my traps are waiting. You have a few days left now, they are still running looking for girlfriends. Good luck.
Sounds like you got some good area for them to raise and keep feeding your sets. I have to get some of the trails cleared because I would like to make a bigger loop on the north line. Could catch a lot more Critters! Going to start warming up on Saturday so they should start moving a little more. Thanks for watching Brother!
Last year I caught 12 Mink and this season only one. Just not around but I don't have much for Muskrats this year either. I hope to catch a few more dawgs yet. My catches on them have slowed down a little. I don't have the population of them like they do farther south in fact my north line I don't even set for them. Just not enough up there to bother with. Thanks for watching Brother. I'll look forward to your next show!
Awesome stuff Camo, I haven’t caught a mink in years, has been quite a bit of sign the last couple years around here, maybe next year I’ll try and catch a couple, thanks for taking us along for the ride brother 👍👍
Thanks Brother. Last year I caught 12 and this year only one. Not much for sign around this season, but our Muskrat population took a dive too and around here, that's their main food source. Fun to catch though! Thanks for always watching and commenting on my videos! Take care my Friend
Last year I caught 12 Mink and this year just the one. Not much sign this season. Of those 12 last year 8 or 9 were Bucks. Thanks for watching Brother!
Nice to see you still picking up some beautiful fur Brother! Nice to see the moose footage as well. Our population here is trying to make a slow come back. Take care my friend and hope the wolves make an appearance.
Thanks Brother. Ya, still have a few days to go on the Fisher and Lynx, but this short fur season is just about done. After March 1 its just Coyotes, Wolves, Beaver, Otter, and Muskrats. Not much for Wolves around but that's likely why I'm seeing more Mòose. Thanks for watching my Friend! I sure appreciate you and wish you all the best.
good catches, I enjoy all of your videos thanks for taking us along. Also another great channel right below my comment, perry carswell, thanks to you too
I might have to look into something like that. I normally don't get cold if I can stay dry but when that snow melts and soaks through, then I will start getting cold. Thanks a lot my Friend. I appreciate the comment.
Awesome Garry 22 fisher you'll get 24 before its said and done yeah wolves are predictable hopefully one will cross paths with you thanks for sharing brother til next time stay safe and warm 👍🤜🐺
I'm hoping to pull out 24 but we will see! I have the landmines planted, now I just need the Wolves! Thanks for your wonderful support Brother! It sure means a lot. Take care.
Congrats on the catches this week. Still hoping for more cat, fishers and a few wolves while we're hoping lol Yeah with all the fishers you're catching it'd be a good reason for my mink being around. Sounds like they might have been fisher supper. hahaha HAHAHA And yet another squirrel LOL With not a big market do you skin the head of the squirrels?? Enjoyed your video and I gave it a Thumbs Up
I'm definitely hoping to catch another Cat and a couple more Fisher but time is running short. Even if I don't I'm happy with the season and feel very blessed and fortunate. Yes, I skin the heads on the Squirrels. I do everything proper as I have young children to mentor, lol. Thank you so much for watching and commenting my Friend! Have a good day.
I'm sure hopeful! Starting to warm up today so maybe they will be moving again. If not, I had a great run on them and I'm happy with the season. Thanks for always watching and commenting! Have a great day my Friend.
Nice dawg brother! I got my first one yesterday! 42 wolves is good!! Congrats on the mink !!!! You’re gonna have a hard time beating this year’s fisher record!!!
Thank you and congratulations on your Coyote! I'm probably going to have to open up more line to beat that Fisher record for sure. But it will be fun trying! Thanks for watching Brother! I sure do appreciate you. Have a good day.
I have till the end of March to chase those Wolves so we will see. They still haven't come back but I'm expecting them anyday. Think it was just a pair that are passing through. Thanks for watching!
Ya, they fight them snares a heck of a lot harder then a Cat. Going to get warmer on Saturday so they should move a little more. I might have the chance to catch another one or two. Thanks for watching Brother! Love your show.
Last year I caught 12 Mink, this season only one. Probably won't catch anymore. Season is over on March 1 for Mink, Fisher, Cats, etc. Just be pursuing Wolves, Coyotes and beaver after that. Thanks for watching Brother! Have a good Sunday.
It's a good machine. Little bit hard starting in real cold weather. I should install a primer and that would cure the problem. Other than that its great. Thanks a bunch my Friend!
Thanks Brother! I will soon be after beaver too. Everything ends March 1 except for Coyotes, Wolves, Otter, Beaver and Muskrats. Thanks for watching Brother.
Thank you my Friend. I am 4 off last year's mark and I'm sure I'll catch a few more. Thank you very much for your continued support! I sure do appreciate you.
That's the word. Anyone that has lots of Fisher claim they don't have much for Marten. If I could thin them Fisher out I think the Marten could get a foothold. I would like to have some of each. Thanks for watching and commenting. Have a good evening.
Use your legs to squeeze it but make sure you hang on to it with your hands because people have lost teeth with those things. I have a video where I show how I do it. Just scroll till after the wood pile scene. ua-cam.com/video/Bzil1olWiu8/v-deo.html
Thank you very much Brother. Probably be the only Mink I catch this year as season is just about done. Last year I caught 12. This was a nice Buck Mink though! Thanks for the continued support my Friend. I sure do appreciate you.
We use to have 1350 head of cattle. You need a lot of land to graze them all. There is so much area I could trap but a lot of it is hard to access accept with a saddle horse. Thanks for watching Brother! Have a good night
Holy cow that's a lot of wolves....I've caught 5 total......22Fisher is amazing too! I'm looking forward to your end of the line picture this year. Great video!
That's over a lot of years Brother. Hopefully I can catch some more but there's not to much around. Probably why I'm seeing the Moose. The Fisher catches are crazy! I'm hoping to open up more line next season and maybe I can top it. Thanks for watching Brother. You folks enjoy your Sunday.
Looks like another great run. Almost to 24. Let’s hope you make it. I’m of the opinion that if there’s 22 fisher taken from an area then perhaps they were in need of a thinning. That’s are purpose. 👍👍
Ya, that north line hasn't been trapped in 3 years. Caught 10 up there so far within a square mile. They need to be harvested like anything else. Hope I can get more trail cleared and run a bigger line up there next season. Thanks so much for watching Brother!
Pretty noble thing you are doing keeping these animals at some healthy numbers in your area. Too bad their isnt more trappers out there these days. Cheers.
Thank you Brother. Sadly its starting to look like trapping is a dying business. I hope it doesn't. I would love to see my children take it up and keep the tradition alive. We shall see but we are definitely in dark times. Fur prices are down and a lot less people trapping. Sure appreciate your continued support my Friend! Thank you.
Not being rude or sarcastic, genuinely curious guy tuning in. Other than population control, what’s the appeal to trapping and shooting coyotes, and wolves? Is there money in the coats and meat, or am I missing something?
It is about population control but it's more then just that. Its about helping the populations of many of the species they prey on. Its about protecting my livestock and livestock of my neighbors as we loose calves to these predators. It's also about ensuring the health of the remaining population of Coyotes and Wolves. In the last 10 years 40% of the Wolves I have harvested have been diseased with mange and shoulder mites. These are diseases that they keep spreading to more and more Wolves. Many times infecting the whole pack. It is also a source of income for me by selling the fur on the world market. It is bought by countries all around the world. Prices go up and down but until last year I was averaging $140 for all my Coyote pelts and a Wolf pelt could bring $400-$600. Thank you for your question and for watching my video!
Nice to see you're still catching and the coyote fur still looks great! 22 and counting......WOW! Congrats Brother!
Ya, the Coyotes have slowed down a bit but I'll catch a few more yet I'm sure. Next year I have to open up more line in the north. I could catch a lot more Fisher. Thank you so much Brother! Sure appreciate you taking the time to watch.
Great video! 11,500 acres!! That’s a lot of land.
Ya, the ranch is quite big. Not as big as some but bigger then a lot. So much area that I can't even access. The cattle ramble through it grazing.
Thanks for watching Brother! Have a good day.
Nice mixed bag of critters here in Michigan's upper peninsula I'm allowed one fisher 😂 but the number I hope are growing keep your boots dry .
Thanks Brother. The Fisher numbers should increase for you. 30 years ago I had no Fisher and now look at the numbers. Thanks for always watching and commenting! Best wishes.
Some nice catches there buddy. Later and all the best.
Thank you and thanks for watching Brother! All the best to you as well.
Hell yeah brother awesome catches.
Thank you very much Brother! Have yourself a good day
Congrats on fisher #22 and the mink! Well done!
Thank you my Friend. Season on them is just about done! Appreciate you watching!
That Mink looked like a nice one. Remember back when a
Mink would bring 40 or 50 bucks. ?
It was a good Buck Mink. It measured 24 inches from nose to base of tail. Yes I remember those days. I remember my neighbor getting over $90 for one. Those were the days. To many Mink Ranches flooding the market.
Thanks so much for watching my Friend. Have a great evening!
Mink kill anything it can get. Trapping is simply good resource management in maintaining a vibrant ecosystem. Keep on trucking.
I agree Brother! Thanks for watching. Have a good Sunday!
Glad you got your first mink and hope you get many more brother!! Great season so far on the fisher!! Good luck with everything my friend!
Thanks Brother. Unfortunately I only have a week left on Mink and Fisher so my days for catching them are getting numbered but anything can happen. Maybe I can catch another Mink yet. Maybe another Fisher or 2. Have a good night Brother and thanks again!
Great place to stop for a cup of tea. Not a bad coyote another nice fisher. Another squirrel cool. Thanks for the update. 👍
Yep, I stop there and build a fire to warm up and enjoy my tea. The fur room is getting fuller!
Thanks for always watching and commenting my Friend.
Always thumbs up 👍
Thank you Brother!
Nice mess of fur good goin cowboy...
Its starting to pile up for sure! Thanks for watching Brother.
A nice smorgasbord of critters on this video. Need to get a wolf before seasons out. Good luck.
I'm trying my Friend! Thanks for tuning in. I appreciate it.

Incredible 👊
Thanks for watching Brother!
Ha, we just got our first mink a few weeks ago as well. Should be on the next vid. I could use a few more dawgs like you’re connecting with.
Last year I caught 12 Mink and this season only one. Just not around but I don't have much for Muskrats this year either. I hope to catch a few more dawgs yet. Thank you for your kind words my Friend! Yes, Perry has a great channel for sure. I watch all his shows! Thanks for watching!
They have hunting suits that warms. You push a button and the suit gets really warm.
I might have to look into something like that. I normally don't get cold if I can stay dry but when that snow melts and soaks through, then I will start getting cold. Thanks a lot my Friend. I appreciate the comment.
@@thecamocowboyoutdoors5693 tidewe makes them my friend and they work and it'll keep you warm.

Wolves are definitely a waiting game, stick with it you'll get them
I have till the end of March to chase those Wolves so we will see. They still haven't come back but I'm expecting them anyday. Think it was just a pair that are passing through.
Thanks for watching!
@@thecamocowboyoutdoors5693 same here, and unless something in my life changes drastically, I'm planning on keeping sets out and working until then
That's why I build my Lynx snares a little overkill, them fisher sure destroy things! Great work!
Ya, they fight them snares a heck of a lot harder then a Cat. Going to get warmer on Saturday so they should move a little more. I might have the chance to catch another one or two.
Thanks for watching Brother! Love your show.
Another good catch, and you can keep the snow up there.
Thank you my Friend. Ya the snow. I've seen it lay around till towards the end of April. Hope it's gone sooner this year. Have yourself a great day!
Nice finally getting a mink, I lost count on the fishers great season HAVAGWeeknd Gary
Last year I caught 12 Mink, this season only one. Probably won't catch anymore. Season is over on March 1 for Mink, Fisher, Cats, etc. Just be pursuing Wolves, Coyotes and beaver after that. Thanks for watching Brother! Have a good Sunday.
@@thecamocowboyoutdoors5693 U 2 Gary we always had lots of mink because we lived by two rivers no fishers or Martin CYU
Living dangerously.. cow in front, calf behind 😳
Nice to not have a limit!
More than enough to keep a large population.
Stay safe and happy trapping!
Yep! I don't think I could ever over trap them. There is to much area for them to thrive that I can't access.
Thanks for watching my Friend!
I been waiting
Lol, didn't want to disappoint you! Thanks for watching my Friend.
Good video
Thank you very much!
are you enjoying the VK540 ,start good traction okay . warm to ride , stable .
It's a good machine. Little bit hard starting in real cold weather. I should install a primer and that would cure the problem. Other than that its great. Thanks a bunch my Friend!
Nice job!! Another great catch!! My seasons here are all closed now, except for beaver.
Thanks Brother! I will soon be after beaver too. Everything ends March 1 except for Coyotes, Wolves, Otter, Beaver and Muskrats. Thanks for watching Brother.
Another great video - the fisher streak continues! Question - where are you this year on coyotes taken vs last year? any idea?
Thank you my Friend. I am 4 off last year's mark and I'm sure I'll catch a few more. Thank you very much for your continued support! I sure do appreciate you.
Nice days out
It was! Thanks for watching Brother.
I need to know what the T stands for, tap, touch? It’s driving me nuts haha
Lol. The BFT. It stands for Blunt Force Trauma. Thanks for watching!
So do the fisher eat a lot of the Martin?? I live in north east Indiana and we don't have them around here .

What's the price of coyotes by you this year
I've heard of buyers paying $30 for good, prime, undamaged dawgs. I'm holding all of mine over till next year. Rolling the dice!
Thanks.
I use a mustang floating suit
I have a Mustang coat but not a whole suit. Would definitely be good I'm sure. Thanks for watching! Have a good day.
