1. So did you catch the O ring before you put the head back on or did you have to do a 2nd tear down? 2. Did you check the valve clearance? 3. I have the old manual type cam chain tensioner. Do you know if I can swap it out for an auto tensioner? Thanks for the excellent vid!
Yeah, caught it before the head. Didn't check the valves, never took the covers off lol! I think I'll set them before the trip. Not 100% sure on the chain tensioner
That looks great! I'm using your vid to aid me in putting my buddy's TW back together. What tool did you use for suction when you sucked the oil out? It looked like a hand pump, but I couldn't see.
That's a mitivac fluid excavator. They work great. You can even change oil with them on boats etc. www.amazon.com/Mityvac-7201-Fluid-Evacuator-Plus/dp/B0002SR7TC/ref=sr_1_6?crid=ZXQT2PTRVBUJ&keywords=mityvac+fluid+extractor&qid=1704824854&sprefix=mityvac%2Caps%2C103&sr=8-6&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.f5122f16-c3e8-4386-bf32-63e904010ad0
