I used a recipe from laura vitale and got them right the first time over a weekend and have made them 4 or 5 times since. However, macrons are so hard. I've tried them 3 times and have never gotten them right so i have given up. plus, croissants actually taste good unlike macrons.
Croissants and Macarons are hard to do. It's just that, Macarons uses expensive ingredients that's why mistake is not an option while Croissants, it's cheap. You can do it many times you want.
