I use Trail Traveler videos to help me scout good mountain biking trips. Your videos tend to dwell on the hard technical sections which helps me anticipate what I'm getting into. Videos of the full route are also handy because long climbs over 4" rock debris is trivial for a jeep and miserable on a mountain bike. I rode MSV/Coney last summer and really enjoyed it. That first deep water crossing about refilled my water bottle.
I like the trail guides too. But I enjoyed this. Looks like it was a beautiful day to be out. Do you think a stock Rubicon JL unlimited on 33s would be ok on this trail?
I'll be visiting Colorado for the first time and my son and I were planning on renting a side-by-side and hitting some trails. It would only be a half day ride and I'm leaning towards MSV. I'm sure there are other good trails but this one looks interesting. Normally I try to find some flat fast Trails but I like to do something different for once
We love them. They are going to end up being less expensive than the Patagonias because they last a lot longer. We have had no issues in summer and winter conditions.
@@TrailTraveleryeah, I have about 22,000on my Milestars and will be switching by 25,000 I think. I just wish more companies made the 38x13.5 tire. It’s the perfect size for a JL Rubicon.
Once in a while. Tonight we are doing a night run on Slaughterhouse Gulch for Halloween. Meeting at the trailhead at 6pm. More information is at: facebook.com/groups/267531661121024

Great vidéo ! Many thanks ! :) philippe from France
We have always enjoyed the trail guide videos. This was good but your narrative is always good. 👍
Glad you enjoyed it

For the most part yes. Two spots will require a good spotter
Looked like a great time. I'll have to check if they have a rating for 4x4 vans or Overlanding rigs or just for suv-s / jeeps.
With the gatekeeper having so many stacked rocks, it doesn't take much to go through it. A van...well...that might be a little tight in some areas.
@@TrailTravelerwould a stock 2001 4Runner with BFGs be good on it? Seems tough but maybe possible

I noticed you have switched to Trail Grapplers. How do you like them compared to the Milestars?

Hey TT, what rock sliders are you running?
Rugged Ridge 11504.36 Black Body Armour
Any pinstripe caution on MSV?
@@Coloradohighboy not that I recall but is been a while.
Thank you! Do you ever lead any groups? We are here in Loveland, Co
