My God.....what a masterpiece.....songs like this one are what gives some personally inspired music the power of the best drugs available anywhere. The drummer and bassist give the track an unshakable foundation. You can feel the bass down to your very soul. It is obvious the personal experience of the song's creator inspired the message so painstakingly - yet beautifully delivered. The transition at 4:43 is genius.
I had a front row seat to a live show in a small venue. This song gave me chills. H-Bomb on the drums was amazing. Kevin’s voice was spot on. Everyone was amazing.
jsphburk I had tickets when their first album came out to a small crowd at a best buy in Houston tx. They were so popular there for some reason. Saw them many more times but always remember that
Kevin has a unique, amazing voice... They just sound like everybody else since he has been gone. I met him and talked to him online a long time ago. He is just a nice and genuine human being... He has some of his own stuff... Listen to Parabelle featuring Kevin Matisyn - drop in the ocean...
I have loved this band since the first time I heard them on the radio I couldn't find out who they were at first...thanks Shazam ...I ran right out and bought the album.. I have been to every concert they played from little rock to Dallas and back I love them and they're even better live....THANKS FOR SHARING UR TALENTS W US ...FAN FOREVER!!!!
Amazing song. Overall is perfection. Sucks they couldn't work things out. Don't know what was going on at the time of the first two albums ,but they truly captured magic in all it's essence. Hope one day they'll make amends and release something as beautiful as those first two albums. Here's to Evans Blue. Cheers.
I listened to EB some through high school but just heard this song this year at 30 yrs old. I don't know if I would have appreciated it then, but I appreciate it now. MASTERPIECE! The layers and transitions are incredible; evokes so much emotion. I don't pretend to know what all the meaning is packed into this song, but it sounds like the listeners here ascribe to the idea that it doesn't necessarily matter. Each listener can get something different from a piece like this!
I feel this song is more than just a song. It is is a story left and forgotten to be told. It is up to all of us to decipher the story. To us, it has a different moral.
This instrumental break makes this soo sooo freaking awesome so good i can't even describe my feelings were get attached to this sound..its like another world
@@Hairybuffalo Parabelle has amazing songs. My Surrender, Conversation Ends, Walk Away, Are you Alarmed, and so much more. I love Parabelle even though its not Evans blue.

Does anyone else look this song when they're feeling fucked up and just sit alone and listen to it. This is one of those rare songs that I just can't listen to and stay even-keel. It's got me wrecked, man
NOT gone! both new cd's with Dan on them kick ass. "Erase my scars" is so powerful, all of them are amazing.. and yes i loved Kevin too.. so sweet i still love and listen to Evans Blue daily, mainly the newer, but this song and a few others i mix in for a best of cd, so sweet :)
2019 Guys! This song still makes me stop what I'm doing and sit quietly as it takes me to a place of profound quiet, causing deep thoughts and evanescent memories to burst forth past the threshold of conscious perception as they violently conform to subtle waves of revelation that wash upon the shores of regret.
so sad that really great music like this gets no recognition in the various music awards...nowadays its just a contest of who can make the most meaningless crap
+Erica Barcroft Exactly. You'd think that the Hot 100 would put, you know, the BEST music with some meaning behind it in there lists. It's more of a popularity contest between brain-dead pop stars.
Exadus there's no shame if u rap ;D everyone got their skills! and u know what u also can like other genres as well :) it's even better! couse sometimes song's from Evans Blue cheer people up they help em trough struggles and maybe inspire ur lyrics as well;D keep ur own work up!
bullshit, just as good, both albums with dan Chandler are amazing. I connect with the lyrics so fucking much. And its a little heavier, some of the solos by Vlad are his best
look before youuuuuu end it all look before you...shut your eyes for the last time.. there's nomore room to go back down your picture trends in black and white I will show you what its like..... I hate...pouring my heart out...when its fading fast and streaming down your leg
Yes, it's an entirely different band, aside from the awesome instrumentals the one thing that won me was the incredibly beautiful lyrics but after Kevin left I think they lost that. Parabelle on the other side is a good transition give them a go if you haven't.
that peanut butter cup snickers thing reinforced people that do know about me dont know the whole story which is not a good scenario for me like i said there arent any good scenarios for me here i can see

His voice3 made evans blue...u can hear such emotion in his voice and it was perfect for their songs. That is gone. Such a shame.
I can hear this a thousand times per day! THIS IS REAL ALLTIME MUSIC!
Best evans blue song ever
"Oh, I hate pouring my heart out" I love the emotion in his voice! So beautiful.

"pinup" is my 2nd favorite. the emotion shown forth in their songs leaves one to ponder why current artists try
Can't get over this shit.. this is my favorite song ever how was kevin such a genius?? Such perfect lyrics

Epic. Tears almost everytime
The song tear into the blue is one of the best sings I had ever heard. Shows kevin hasn't lost it since being kicked out of evans blue

Best song by Evans blue by far
i can only imagine how godly they would sound today had they never kicked kevin out

Nice! A friend showed me another song by them, I didn't care for it much but I love this one

Man do I miss this lineup. Their new music is alright for me, but nothing beats Kevin's Blue🤘🤘🤘
Chatter Box is it bad that I go to Parabelle shows just to hear him play Evans Blue songs?
